He's probably going to turn me around, particularly if/when we do the double/treble. I'm a nark at the best of times anyway with football, so your welcome to remind me pal end of the season when I'm singing the teams praises how I did not rate him that much at first. :50:

Why do you think its nominally you @wanyama1967 and me who rate Jozo yet their are other players who's contributions and talents are embellished who are fan darlings?

Rogic has ability that most of the players in our team could only dream of. Has a couple of weaknesses that could be worked on, but he's definitely one of the best players at the club.

Maybe he needs more watching up close. Some players look * on highlights/live games but if you go home and away every game your assessment changes.

This is why I wish I lived in Glasgow as I'd be going every game and possibly appreciate players like Rogic more.

If people can't see how good Rogic is then sorry but they would be better watching another sport, the fact Gladbach had two men on him on Weds as soon as he got the ball tells you everything

Yep, BMG seemed to single him out. At least 2 players around him every time he received the ball. They were obviously aware of the threat he possesses

    A class act.

However he is in danger of following the road that Paddy McCourt took.

He really does need to work on his stamina and fitness levels.
It is ridiculous that a professional athlete is unable to play a full 90 mins- Imagine Usain Bolt chucked it after 80 metres that would be ridiculous and so is this.

Ok if he was in the latter part of his career then ok but he is in his early 20's ffs. I dont understand why he is continually unable to finish a game. It also means that we are limited to 2 substitutions because he will have to be taken off at some point and that could potentially go against us in a game leaving us a man short.

Think he is a smashing player Zidane-esque at times but annoyed by his poor stamina.

    Sort it out Tom.

His fitness isn't the greatest, but he has skill. I'm also starting to wonder if he's too slow(and too slow to react at times) for Europe. Not been impressed with him so far there

If he could last 90 mins and still be playing at a high intensity he wouldn't be here next season.

I think he has potential to be a top class player, his touch, awareness and vision at times is beautiful, he just needs to improve his shooting and yes of course his fitness. The way he spins away from players is exquisite, he was doing it as effortlessly vs Man City as he was versus SPL dross.

He can play 90 mins - he played 120 in the semi last year did he not? But certainly needs to be playing 90 mins week in week out. I have to hope it's just because he's still inexperienced for a footballer and like the rest of the team is learning Rodgers' ways.

You need to relax mate,:50: Barkley is *, Rogic isn't & Barkley hasn't qualified for the CL

He's played a full 90 minutes several times this season.

The decision to sub him today was clearly a tactical one. Rogic played well but his attempts on goal weren't coming off.

It's a downright lie for people to say he can't last 90 minutes.

You have to ask the question though - why does Rogic get subbed at round about the 60 minute mark in almost every single game? Surely we can't/shouldn't be employing the exact same tactic every match?

Because Brendan Rogers views the dynamics of the game and decides that a player such as Armstrong will be better at breaking down a stubborn defence due to his movement and energy on and off the ball.

If Rogic wasn't fit, a manager such as Rodgers wouldn't even select him.

    exactly this.

I dont understand why he is consistently subbed around the hour mark.

I think a lot of the time it's tactical. We have been ahead in a lot of domestic matches by that time in the game, so we bring on a more industrious midfielder to help defensively.

He does tire sometimes but I don't think he gets subbed because he is finished.

He didn't look even slightly out of breath in the ten minutes before he was subbed today.

if that was the case why not just start with armstrong.

It is a concern that we make the same substitution in almost every game.

I love rogic he is amazing in that position just would like to see him in the games for 90 mins - Like i said he is not in his 30's, subbed after 60 is usually the domain of the older close to retirement player not a young man in his prime.
