For those who are in love.....
    Starfelt
    Welsh
    Taylor
    Scales
    Bitton
    Ideguchi
    Forrest
    Abada
    Dembele
    Giakoumakis

Then Turnbull back after and hopefully another 2 or 3 signings. That bench will already be a lot stronger week to week..

    Hatate McGregor
    Rogic
    Jota Kyogo Maeda
For me our strongest 11 still has a RB at LB, so that needs rectified but the depth is definitely getting there.

Another LW/RW, CB and CAM/10 of real quality too is the dream.

Would love to see this at full strength:

    Hart (Bain) (Barkas)

    Ralston (Juranovic) (Urhoghide)
    CCV (Starfelt)
    Jullien (Welsh)
    NEW LB (Scales) (Taylor)

    McGregor (Bitton) (McCarthy)
    Hatate (Ideguchi) (Shaw)
    Rogic (Turnbull)

    Forrest (Abada) (Dembele)
    Kyogo (Giakoumakis) (Ajeti)
    Jota (Maeda) (Johnston)

I genuinely feel like the only priority is left back, with possibly some cover at CB without needing to dip into the young fellas.

This means I can only really imagine Soro and Bolingoli would be out the door this window.

    Am I missing anyone?

I've a feeling we won't see the same starting 11 again till seasons end... Ange will have so may options now and I think he will utilise that. Hopefully opposition won't have a clue what's coming at them..

Back four and GK if Jullien keeps fit will pick itself and should stay that way..

Hart, Ralston, Vickers Jullien, Juranovic.. * solid

Infront of them we have so many options now if everyone keeps fit.. can't wait to see our first 11 after the break.

No. Unfortunately it’s not a particular strength of any of the three.

It’s definitely something we should be looking to add to the squad. The number of free kicks we get 20-30 yards out and at the moment we’d be as well just playing it back to Hart and starting an attack from scratch.

Still think we need a better back up to Hart than Barkas. Also hopeful that we can offload Ajeti as he just isn't going to do it for us.

Surprised at all the selectors leaving out Maeda.

I reckon he'll tear up the league with Jota and Kyogo, supplied by Rogic, McGregor and Hatate.

For me the best eleven will look something like this:

    Hart

    Ralston
    Carter-Vickers
    Starfelt
    Taylor

    McGregor
Hatate(if he is as good as J-League followers believe)
    Rogic

    Jota
    Kyogo
    Forrest

I like the look of Maeda but he might need some time to settle just based on his previous European stint. Julien will take a while to get up to speed so hopefully he can get minutes in the cup and maybe games where we are comfortably winning.

We have good depth to the squad with the following not in the team:

    Maeda
    Abada
    Giakoumakis
    Bitton
    Ideguchi
    Turnbull
    Welsh
    Juranovic
    Bain
    McCarthy
    Julien
    Johnston

Don't think I am forgetting anyone. Shaw and Uroghide out on loan by all accounts and Henderson gone to Hibs. But we look not too bad.

Im a big Forrest, but hes just not realiable at all! Injury prone and goes missing more of the games.. If Maeda is as good as he looks he'll b ahead.

You're missing a few, some of them might be away but

    Scales
    Ajeti
    Dembele
    Montgomery
    Boli
    Barkas (I know)
    Hazard
    Soro

And I'm.not including, Murray, Moffat etc bit I'd not be surprised if they do play a bit more

    McGregor
    Rogic Hatate
    Jota Kyogo Maeda
If Jullien regains his form and Maeda and Hatate hit the heights expected of them, this is easily our strongest 11.

Leaves the bench options solid as * too: Welsh/Starfelt, Scales/Taylor, Bitton, Ideguchi, Turnbull, Abada, Forrest, Giakoumakis, Dembele/Johnston.

Yeah most of those will only play if we have a full blown covid crisis or they will likely be moved on. Montgomery and Scales mind you would be two in and around the squad. I think we look OK. Should have enough there to push on 2nd half of the season.

Aye, not denying that there will likely be movement there

I think Dembele will play, certainly looked like he was going to be back in preseason before he was assaulted by Bristol.

The squad depth is looking better with what we have there now, especially if the 3 new lads hit the ground running

Just need to find a left back who can take freekicks

GK: Hart, Bain (forget the others)

    RB: Juranovic, Ralston
    CB: CCV, Starfelt, Jullien, Welsh
    LB: Taylor, Scales

    DM: Ideguchi, Bitton, McCarthy
CM: Rogic, McGregor, Hatate, Turnbull, McGree

    RW: Jota, Abada, Forrest
    ST: Kyogo, GG, Ajeti
    LW: Maeda, MJ

Obviously that's not everyone listed, and there will be rotation (across the front 3 in particular). Listed Jota as a RW as I think Maeda will play on the left.

However, the main point here is that we seem a little bloated in midfield, and light on options up front. Unleess Maeda plays through the middle to rest Kyogo, and Hatate plays on the wing etc.
