Just finished it there. Enjoyed it apart from one subplot/episode that was * and felt out of place.

Get the feeling though when I give it a watch through again it'll probably not be a patch on the first season. Season 1 was perfect while this felt a bit all over the place at times, especially the episode I felt was out of place.

I think I loved it but I don't know. Some stuff just didn't really feel right for me.

 

Also, loved Mad Max.

 

Is the full season on or is it a weekly thing?

 

Did like it but season 1 is comfortably better, bit of a missed opportunity in some bits, great ending though!

Binged it today, brilliant again.

 

Watched first 6 episodes yesterday.Caught the start of episode 7 and looks like it's all going to kick off.

 

Steve is basically Jaime Lannister, * at the start and then started to turn good, not sure if you should like him or not, great character arc.

 

Don't want to post spoilers but its brilliant when he has to 'babysit'.

 

I like him and i like madmaxs brother aswell

 

I finished Season 2 yesterday and I enjoyed it overall. It's definitely a fun watch, albeit, not quite as good as the first season.

I'm wary of accidentally spoiling anything for anyone, so I'll just put the rest of the comment in spoilers.

Spoiler: Season 2 Spoilers

• The ending was fantastic. The show's at it's best when it's focusing on it's characters and that scene was basically filled with nice character moments.

• The actor playing Will did a great job. He didn't really get much of a chance to shine last season, but he definitely made up for it this time around (with the possession scenes being standouts).

• Max and her step-brother were both decent additions and I assume the latter will play a bigger role in the future (if I had to make an early prediction, I'm guessing he'll turn out to be gay).

• The scenes with Dustin and Steve were great. They're probably my favourite characters in the show.

• I liked the way they played with our expectations regarding Bob and the Doctor.

• My only real criticism of this season is that Episode 7 (the Eleven focused episode) is fairly *. The misfit 'gang' were awful, about 90% of the episode was basically set-up for a future season and the episode itself is awkwardly placed (which they sort of get away with thanks to binge watching). I genuinely don't get why they didn't just have this as a plot line running throughout the season instead of lumping it all in to one episode. On a side note, I hope they don't go overboard with the psychic children stuff in future seasons and turn the show in to some sort of * X-Men-ish thing.

Completely agree about the Eleven episode. Genuinely one of the worst episode of television I've ever seen. Completely took me out of. The lassie Callie or whatever was a * awful actress.

Steve and Dustin were * gold together. Really hope we see more of them together next season.

Loved Mad Max as well. Think Billy will pump Mrs Wheeler

Loved it overall but there wasn't enough of the group together. Can't wait to see how they show Eleven trying to blend in as normal.

Ending was magic. Good seeing Hopper and Joyce at the end as well outside.

 

Watching the scene at End again I'd be happier if they just finished it at that and didn't make anymore.

 

Tried season 1 of this again last night watched 5 episodes and still can't get in to it. Not my bag.

 

Exact same for me, I thought i'd recall everything when I watched the first episode or to but it seems totally different and I can't mind how the last one ended either. Im half way through Episode 7 the now and I can't really be arsed watching it any more.
