    We have 4 centre halfs. That includes Hendry.

    Hamed is not here to play their primarily. He will be competing for RB.

    We need another CB.

    Think about it we will be playing 3 at the back a lot of this season. That leaves only one in reserve. One natural CB anyway with Bitton and Hamed to fill in.

    fair enough. i don't see him as a first choice and im sure at this point in his career he would want more regular starts to. can't tell if the club should accept that rumored Lille bid.

    Meanwhile Lennon remained tight-lipped over his spying trip to Wales to run the rule over Partizan Belgrade's Serbian centre-back Strahinja Pavlovic.

    The Hoops boss was in the crowd at the Belle Vue Stadium in Rhyl as Partizan Belgrade triumphed won 1-0 over Kilmarnock's Euro conquerors Connah's Quay Nomads in the Europa League second qualifying round, first leg tie.

    Lennon who was speaking as he officially opened the inaugural Celtic FC Festival taking place at the SEC this weekend: "I ended up in with the Partizan fans.

    "That was an eye opener as well.

    "There was an Irishman in the middle of it.

    "He must have got lost!

    "We were looking at a player. I’m just doing my job.

    "I’m not going to divulge who it was obviously.

    "A lot would fall into place if we do qualify but I’m uneasy talking about qualification as we are still so far off it.

    Wish he hadn’t said that tbh, no matter how difficult it is to attract players without the CL carrot.. we should be signing players to help us qualify..

    No it isn’t as @The Thumb said we never tend to buy players after we qualify.

    2012 - lassad, Miku and Ambrose all brought in for £1.5m
    2013 - pukki £2.3m
    2016 - Gamboa £1m
    2017 - edouard and Roberts both loans

    Compared to the £30m for the groups we spend next to nothing

    Frustrating that the timeline of us strengthening, keeps getting kicked down the road..
    Only a few days ago, Lennon said that we'd look to strengthen before the third qualifier. Now, it's after CL qualification..
    No word of that mystery RB, either.
