    One of our managers colourful sides(like it or not) is his comments in front of interviewers
    He has some classics...heres one to start the ball rolling...

    Strachan was on Sky one Sunday morning. He saw John Terry's goal and said he was impressed that Terry goes up expecting to score. He contrasted this to Claus Lundekvam the Saints central defender who goes up for every dead ball and never ever looks remotely like scoring. He said if there was a dead body lying in the penalty area the ball would hit it on the head several times a season which he said is more than Lundekvam can manage. He said referees should book Lundekvam for timewasting every time he goes up for a corner. When the co-commentator said if Lundekvam was watching Strachan was only joking. Strachan assured him he was deadly serious.

    strachan, when he was manager of southampton, i think, was asked after being totally destroyed by arsenal in an interview "so Gordon where do you think arsenal outplayed you tonight" strachan just looked at him and said "see that big green rectangle out there, thats where"

    i think his interviews are great and sum of the one liners he * out with are amazing.

    EDIT: just remembered it wasnt arsenal it was middlesborough. wot a tube eh

    take away his funny quotes and look at the quality of the product on show which has in turn managed to wipe 20 000 of every home attendance and that is the main reason he is not accepted by a large amount of the support
