Well, if he’s not good enough, there’s really no point in objecting to someone saying so - no matter the extent of his poor quality. Whether you think he’s utter gash, or just slightly off our standard, it makes no difference, does it? He’s either up to it, or he isn’t. That’s the point of this whole thread; can agree to disagree on the rest as it’s irrelevant to the “O’Donnell to Celtic” question.

 

He's no good enough. Even when we have no right backs at the club.

 

Sorry to bump this, and i know he's no popular. But in terms of stepping up and putting in a performance, he was outstanding for scotland tonight. Never a long term answer but short term and squad wise.. why not?, aye it's just off the back of one performance, but he isn't as * as some have suggested.

 

But has he got it in his locker to do that every game which is a must at Celtic

Aye mate, i agree to an extent. He's turned up in all the bigger games for scotland though, every game is big at celtic as we know.

Anyway, im not trying to pure advocate, just meaning as a squad player.. we could do worse.

As a squad player he'd be fine

 

Tbh on a free transfer, as a back up, on a year deal with an option of a 2nd if he impresses.. I wouldn't be against it.

 

Did well tonight but * nowhere near us please.

 

He's not good enough but he's the type of player I imagine we will be signing and will have done himself no harm with Ange being at Wembley as well

 

The guys *, yea he played well tonight but * players have good games, can he do it consistently? No that’s why he’s free and played for pish clubs. is he a Celtic player? No. People saying he’s a good backup we need 2 good players every position, wev been signing squad players for ages and they’re ducking woeful and drag the standard down so the first choice is under no pressure, this guy cannot be a Celtic player.

 

Probably better option than ralston or that Jon joe Kenny
