    Celtic have Accepted an offer of 1.8 million for our club captain stephen(mick) McManus according to todays sun.
    Now whether you love him or hate him he has given nothing more than blood sweat and tears to the club he has been at all his life,
    so on that note i would firstly like to say good luck for the future big mick and hope it works out well for you .

    I dont think he was a great defender but he served us well.. i hope he does well in england.

    he is /was 1 of only players to have come right through the ranks from ball bhoy to boot cleaner ,
    to captain thats a great achievement on its own.

    sorry to see him go but times change and we move on .

    was very good at times and has also played very well many times at a high level in the CL and for Scotland so there is a player in there. However, something went wrong and he became very inconsistent and his lack of pace was always a worry. Good luck and I suspect we my see him in the EPL next season as WGS seems to be building a decent squad at Boro including a Skippy-Boyd striker pairing, the 2 best goals machine in the SPL over the last 5 years.

    Totally agree. There is a player in there but he's gone of the boil in the last couple of seasons. Great attitude and Celtic through and through so best wishes for the future to Mick.
