Agree, he also wins headers a lot, like even the day he won one from a corner and almost scored and obviously the other night he had 4/5 good chances from headers - been a long time since we had a striker capable in the air.

Looks the sort of striker who will get you 7/8 goals a season just from headers.

I don't think he does win a lot.

He rarely wins headers from a long ball or goal kick. Most of his headers against Astra were from good crosses planted on his head when he was unchallenged.

Compared to other striker's we have had recently he does win his fair share. As long as he wins the ones in the box I will be happy.

For a striker I think he wins a lot of headers. Especially compared to the sort of strikers that we usually have.

2 up front is a must domestically with these 2..

Spoke to soon on sheppy i think, looked a different confidence player today, an extra spring in pace, energy to get away from the defender and get the red, some lovely flicks as well as 2 in 2 games and should have been 3 today with a lovely curler headed off the line..

    Promising..

Like everyone who signs for us, I want them to do well. I was harsh on this big lad at the start. But if he keeps this up, I will invite him for dinner! :50:

If he works on heading direction he'll be a beast for us, hopefully that will come with confidence.

At least he's getting into the positions to get the chances.

I think he needs a bit of time to settle. He's had very little service in his substitute appearances but in his two recent starts he's scored 2 in 2 games. He also seems to make good runs and seems like he is capable of seeing sneaky backheel passes or picking out players in better positions around the box which is always good.

I think he could be a very good player for us by the end of the season once he's used to his teammates' passing and movement.

It's still very early, but I reckon once he settles then we could have a strike force to be feared.

I just hope we get the chance to see this happening.

Yep, it's early days but i think i well and truly jumped the gun on the big man..

Once he bulks up which Ronny alluded too, i think he'll be the focal point we've been lacking as he seems like once he gets his range he'll be good in the air and also shows good awareness and deft touches to bring others in to play..

Think they will be a devastating pair once they both develop what even at this early stage looks a hood partnership..
Plenty of goals in store, you can clearly see teams being on the end of sixes at Celtic park in the coming weeks/months..

He could've scored four yesterday, which is encouraging really as he still looks a bit off the pace but clearly knows how to find good positions. Might be the goalscorer we've been looking for...

To be honest before these last 2 games he was barely given a chance in the league and in Europe when he has started we never seem to create much anyway.

Think he will go on and get at least 15 this season. Guidetti getting a good bit more if he can stay fit.
