Seen it mentioned a couple of times but * is up Christine's reaction to griffs goal? Hopefully nothing to it or could be a sign of something between them?

Unfortunately lenny has kept his grudge too long against both to have them make a mark on the hun game , they are 6 games away from match fit and both worth a goal per game , both match winners and possibly the reason we are finding games difficult as we are not getting early goals to open games up , and refs are not as kind to us as they are to the huns with early pens .

For me too if you leave Broonie out you need to play Christie as an 8..

Turnbull will need to be phased in too.

The one fir me was where he took the ball in had a heavy touch and then stood on the ball. He reminded me of bambi.
I’d drop him for huns game and play grit and Klimala up front.

You’d be surprised how many players play through knocks. Whether Lennon is aware or not. This 2 weeks will do him good, unless he plays for the u21’s.

Could just be a case of Christie being * of with his own performance.

I get that there was a lot of nerves shredded watching that today but that 2-0 score line is not an unfair reflection on how we played. There was a few passengers today but overall we controlled that game and had the lions share of possession but not clinical in front of goal. It definitely wasn’t the worst we have played this season. Toss up between Killie away, Ferencvaros home or even the Riga performance. That today was us doing what champions do. Playing to the final whistle and subs doing their job and to score two in the last minute was superb. Well done Bhoys.

Like every transfer window, if we lose someone that doesn’t want to be here are we losing or gaining? I’d rather coffers in the bank than someone with an over inflated ego looking for a move. That stuff disrupts the rest of the squad.

On the other hand I loved broonies and Leigh’s celebrations. Even Leigh’s when paddy scored.

Lenny must have used up his supply of Get Out of Jail Free cards

Maybe with the window closed and Eddy with the French team he will find his form. We are grinding out results but it really is down to Lenny to tell the team that the urgency must start at the kick off not the last 5 or 10 mins.

Happy with the points today and very happy to see Griff and Paddy get goals but apart from that it was NOT an enjoyable afternoon. Top of the league but it will only be for a very short time. Lets all hope we click after the break .. we have previous in that dept and European games should inspire players also
