These feminists will be the same cows sitting up the back row of the odeon fingering themselves at the Magic Mike premiere.

Simple solution: just ban the sexy ladies. While you are at it, ban the ugly ones too. Oh wait what? That sounds like Saudi Arabia prior 2018?

Correct stance for FIFA to take, to be honest. In a sport that still has huge sexism issues, consistently singling out a specific group of people to sexualise them to millions of people when they haven’t asked for it, they’re not aware it’s happening, and aren’t even there for that reason is a bit more complicated and specific than “looking at people". The problem is the proportional over-abundance of showing attractive female fans. When a large portion of the focus shifts to attractive female fans, you are no longer just "showing fans". You are depicting them for their sexual appeal.

Also if the match 'entertainment' is the women in the crowd then maybe you should get another hobby.
It's like those * that go to the football or cinema and spend the whole time posting to social media "oh what a chance McGregor". How do you know ya *?! You haven't even looked up yet!

There is a reason that the Greeks sculpted Aphrodite of Milos and not the average Greek woman: we all appreciate physical beauty. It should be celebrated, not shamed. You do not demean or devalue a person through your appreciation of his or her physical beauty alone.

Please, spare us the sanctimony. I am sure that you have remarked on someone’s physical attractiveness before.

If you wear thigh-high socks, short shorts and a top that exposes your midriff and cleavage to a televised football game, you are not there for the football; you are there for the camera.

If you are dressed like a sensible *, how, and by whom, are you being objectified? Does showing a good-looking woman in a cutaway constitute objectification ipso facto?

That’s a step or two away from ‘she deserved to be raped. She was wearing practically nothing so she must be a slag and she was up for it!’

    Grim reading there Vertie bhoy

Remarking on someone's physical attractiveness is nothing like cameras constantly and deliberately singling out women as sexual objects, again, absolutely * justification. If it happened once or twice, no-one would notice, but it's become an active feature of a match, when it shouldn't, so take your patronising snide remark and stick it right up your pompous *. :giggle1:

No it isnt you taking *? You're just looking for it to say that there, he makes a valid enough point that females going to games dressed up with there * hanging out and dolled up to * are not there for the football? Do they want cameras on them? Im not sure, i imagine some of them do and some dont, for me i dont give a * who the camera man points his camera at because i'm watching the program for the footy. But how the * you took that and put "she deserved to be raped" next to it is embarrassing

    * off. It is nothing of the sort, as you well know. I said that women who dress like that at a football game are not camera shy, not that women who dress like that deserve to be raped.

Don't think there's anything harmful in beautiful people being objectified.

As a non-binary sexually fluid person, I like looking at beautiful men, women and undefined.

    I will ask again:

If you are dressed like a sensible *, how, and by whom, are you being objectified? Does showing a good-looking woman in a cutaway constitute objectification ipso facto?
