18:45 Bray Wanderers - Drogheda United

The club was in a very difficult situation recently, but they play some good football. Their last five games have finished 1:0, with four going in their favour, losing narrowly last time out to table toppers Dundalk. The new coach Mick Cooke has started well with the Seagulls, and he will motivate the players well for this game against his former employers. Regular goalkeeper is injured, but there came P. Cherrie who was named the club's Player of the Month.

Drogs are in bad shape, but they beat tonight's opponent both times this year. Their best striker D. Kavanagh, who was a scorer in both wins against Wanderers, left the club this summer. Also, they will have problems with absences due to suspension so will have to play without two key defenders, J. Gorman and A. Byrne, so that they are in a much more difficult situation now, while Bray looks better than in the first half of the season.

18:00 Krylya Sovetov - Spartak Moscow

Home team is back in the Russian Premier League as winner of the second division last season. However, they were weakly active in the transfer window so Krylya have probably the worst roster of players in the league. The club top scorer from last season A. Jahovic is injured, while the second best scorer D. Tkachuk has left the club.

Spartak won their last three away games in Samarra. They have a much better team, only midfielder Romulo is out today. Their former player Dmitri Alenichev is new coach, so the team's improved defensive play that was the biggest concern last season. They would like to ensure playing in Europe next year and have the potential to do so.

    16:30 Altach - Sturm Graz

Altach became the first Austrian team that won in Portugal, and thus qualified for the next round of qualifications for the EL. They will play for the first time in their stadium this season and expect a great atmosphere. Otherwise they were second best home team in the league last season, but they also have two straight wins without conceding a goal against Sturm in Altach.

Sturm been eliminated from European competition, playing only a draw in Kazan a few days ago. In addition to the fatigue of the team due to the very long journey, they have a lot of players who can't play due to injury. Neither of these two teams don't have a win in the league after two rounds, and it seems to me that the host is closer to the first victory of the season.
