    I still think that goal against the late Rangers F.C was one of the best I ever seen against them. The swerve he put on that ball was just unbelievable. There was that goal and one that Shaun Maloney scored in about 2005 against them in the League Cup...that was from miles out as well. Its almost a draw between they two goals but I think Naka's one just edges it

    We are a fantastic team with players with heaps of skill, but we ain't had anything close to Nakamura since he left. Had a foot like a wand, could conjure a moment of pure magic. The chip at home to Dundee Utd was one I'll always remember. Mind when we played Man Utd and one of the guys that sat behind us had gave his ticket to a Japanese guy outside the ground. When Naka scored everyone in striking distance jumped on top of the guy, don't remember seeing him get back up

    surprised he lasted 4 years here,there was many stories he was struggling with the language and culture.fair play to him for sticking around as he could have easily spent his career somwere nicer italy,spain etc.glasgow must have looked a right bleak,shitehole compared to a big metropolis like yokohoma.my hat goes off to him.celtic must get a good pull on people.

    It was strange that he never really did anything after us. He went to Espanyol and was never heard of again. I also wonder what happened to Koki Mizuno. I remember he scored one goal in his Celtic career in a rare start against Falkirk. We ended up with a parade of these Far Eastern players. There was Nakamura, Mizuno, Du Wei, Zheng Zhi, Cha Du Re, Ki Sung Yung. Ki was also a good player for us and Zheng Zi scored a bullet against Hearts at Swinecastle.

    Then again, he didn't fit in well at all at Espanyol, not even lasting half a season. Rumor in Spain was Nakamura's wife hated it as well. Says a lot about how much he must have enjoyed playing at Celtic.
