    given is class as is boruc, the chances of us bringing in that kind of player is very slim.

    i dont see us replacing boruc, someone will be brought in either on loan or for 1-2m to compete with zaluska but there is no chance they will be as good as boruc,

    we need to deal with it!

    On a brighter note, i believe a big name striker will be brought in either this window or in jan.

    As much as it sounds like utter bullsh*t, its possible...

    He's a big Celtic man, Mancini has refused to loan out Joe Hart, We sell our keeper for next to nothing.... I think stranger things have happened!

    If it's not Shay heading up North, i'd bet Lenny's got something up his sleeve

    Am I the only one who thinks it would be stupid to bring a GK in on loan? Don't we need something more stable to build a team around?

    goalies are less likely to leave if they have the no1 jersey, so getting one in on loan makes sence, unless he is proven which will cost big bucks which we dont have.

    Won't happen, given was the second best keeper to hart on the epl last season. Many epl teams would take him before us and his wages would be too high

    The reason he is starting behind Hart is because he's currently injured. Given is probably the best keeper in the epl and won't be here next season

    This whole rumor has to be nonsense. Even if Mancini were crazy enough to prefer Hart over Given (which he is crazy), the board would never put up with it. Given is a top keeper in the EPL and probably a top ten in the world. Hart is up-and-coming, but why trade what you have for what you hope to have?

    Given would go for a price tag way out of Celtic's reach.

    I dont think this will happen but what I can see is David James coming up here for 2 seasons. He has stalled on a deal with Portsmouth.

    Wasn't Shay Given on Celtic books as a youngster. Did they not let him go because he was too small. Another piece of good business if true.
