    Am from Cathcart its about 15 minute walk to Shawlands. I have friends in Shawlands but not heard anything on the matter yet. Ill update if a find more info.

    I knew Mr Shah personally for many years. Without guilding the lily, I can say he was an exemplary individual, kind, thoughtful, considerate and always asking and hoping you are keeping well. In a world of cynics and poison he was as honest, hard working and as true as they come. I'm horrified by this tragedy.

    There is some anger in me, however. I can't shake the heinous thought that his savage murder was racially motivated. A human life destroyed and a family torn to pieces due to the actions of racism surpasses the barbarism of the most unevolved primates. This man did not deserve this!

    Looks like I was just in time.

    There's no reason at this time to believe it was racially aggravated. It would be horrible if that turned out to be the case, but until the motives become clear, let's try and keep the thread to the facts we know at the moment.

    Been in the shop a couple of times and whilst l don't remember the guy l do remember whoever was in the shop was very friendly.

    Thought it said there were 2 people stabbed???? Probably some wee junked up *, hope it wont be long till he is caught
