Duffy is only playing due to our lack of options recently.

He needs to sharpen up mentally and physically.

All down to him now and if he is on the bench he will know that he got a longer run in the team than his performances merited.

He is not alone in that respect but he is costing us goals and this puts the spotlight on himself..

When the spotlight is on you it's time to shine or get off the stage.

He played much better tonight. Should have scored in the first half. He was a bit unlucky for their goal. Tonight was the first time in a while he looked more like the player he was in 2018

Couldn't be * whether he puts in a decent showing internationally, he's had plenty of game time here now and looking back at it, has showed no sign of improving.

We do not have the time or luxury of waiting for him to look even remotely likr an athlete let alone a barely competent footballer.

No question he had a much better game yesterday. Kept it simple with the ball and didn't try any long ambitious Stubbs like passes out of the back until the end when we were forcing things to get an equalizer. But for most of the game just passed simply to others around him and focused on his defensive duties which he did well.

Watched the highlights of the game against Wales, big man still looking very raw. Looked all over the place at times. Should only play again for us in a back 4 or 5.

Celtic centre-half Shane Duffy looks to be in the clear despite Republic Ireland team-mates - James McClean and Matt Doherty - testing positive for Covid-19 following a 1-0 defeat by Wales as the rest of the squad has tested negative. (Glasgow Evening Times)

    This is beyond ridiculous now.

Yeah, * Covid! First it takes Edouard, Christie, Elhamed and Bitton and now, to add insult to injury, it spares Duffy for us! :56::56::56::56:

The mathematics of it make it so predictable. Instead of two bubbles coming together like in club football, it's literally scores of bubbles coming together. The number of permutations for possible infections is several orders of magnitude more than for a club match (even in Europe).

Ridiculous is exactly the right word.
