    Stepping back from the furore..

    I actually really worry for this guy as a footballer now. Its been a terrible run of form and he, rightly at times, has taken the brunt. I genuinely, as most have said, think he has underestimated playing here. He is never going to get up to speed or catch up fitness wise, too busy a schedule and too far gone. And that's before we even look at his tactical or skill errors. He could be done mentally and it is the absolute LAST thing we need right now.

    This guy needs to be removed from the team for his own good never mind anything else, his confidence is in pieces. He was supposed to be the EPL standard defender who was going to come in and lead us to 10 in row. I dont buy this * idiotic theory that just because a player has played regularly in the EPL he will cruise it up here, doesn't work like that. The way he was left for dead after a mistimed challenge for their third was embarrassing. We can only pray Julien and Ajer are back ASAP. I take no pleasure in saying the term 'donkey' is a very fitting description of Duffy from what Ive seen from him so far. Very, very disappointing.

    I know for a fact he’s a better defender than he’s showing. It feels as if he’s just on a continual downward mental spiral within himself - completely devoid of confidence altogether he’s making rudimentary mistakes at the things he’s clearly good at.

    FFS, Jose Mourinho pointed him out individually as a beast in both boxes. The guys getting beat in the air off guys he would normally wipe out.

    That one on one tonight he wipes the guy out 10 times out of 10.
