    Criticism is par of the course tbh, especially when you joining has a lot of hype, and people close to you make comments about finding it too easy.

    He might still come good, I expect he’ll be useful over the course of a season tbh and I am glad he’s here, but right now we have 3 in the squad who are better (albeit 2 are unavailable). It’s up to Duffy to dislodge them based on performance, and not have a place based on reputation or romanticism.

    Tomorrow is exactly the type of game he was brought in for really, and I think he’ll do well in it.

    Time for him to make a positive impact. If he doesn’t improve by the window I’d try to cut short his loan deal. We must be paying a fortune for him.

    Unfortunately just looks like the wrong type of player for us. He would be great for a team playing backs to the wall, defending 20 yards from your own goal, however for a team like us, who are normally defending high up the pitch, he is a liability because as soon as the ball is past him hes out the game.

    Hopefully moving to a back 4 will help him but on form he wouldn't be in my back 4, even with Julien injured. Hopefully he gets some confidence back and starts looking like the player alot of fans seem to think he is.

    It’s his defending that’s been the issue!!!! It’s irrelevant if you’re 20 yards or 40 yards from our goal he’s supposed to be a defender!!!

    9 months with no football and straight into the team,other players are deemed not match fit for 1/4 of the season while we use midfielders as strikers. i just cant be arsed anymore...lenny and his *.

    Duffy will always be average with a mix of good and bad games may as well get used to it.

    Anyway ill be sticking a few bob on him today anytime goal scorer.....
