Probably a mix of first team and youth players starting for this one.

Myself and my little bro are going, he supports Celtic aswell and he plays for rovers u13s but he will be rooting for the real hoops Saturday should be a good game I know a couple of the lads on the rovers team from my local area aswell so it will be nice to see them have a run out against us. Trevor Clarke is one to watch

Rovers are probably playing a weakened team due to their european commitments

    All about the collective
Yip and league commitments. Lost at the weekend 1-0 with a somewhat weakened team after only playing in a couple days before in Iceland

I remember being to a friendly match between Cork City and West Bromwich where Cork, for the same reasons, lined up a VERY weak starting eleven, almost no first team regulars, and I don't remember for which reason but WBA brought all the stars, Anelka, Shane Long, Lugano, etc. It was a * massacre. Something similar could happen in this friendly.

This is on Premier Sport also, so maybe fans signing up for the Linfield game should do it early catch this aswell.

I'd imagine a few pubs on the Gallowgate will have it on. No idea about anywhere in the city, which i'd avoid anyway in case there's a Chinese Protestant Wok on. Get it?

2013 or so, I hope you enjoyed the rebel county. The LOI see these games as money making exercises and little more. Shams have marketed this game well, doing packages for this game, a friendly with Burnley and 2 league games etc. I am not their biggest fan but credit where it is due.

Looking forward to this. Meeting up with my bro who's a Rovers season ticket & a few other Rovers lads.
Hooking up with a few Celts too & bringing the kids. Good crew, craic will be mighty.
Hoping the trophies come over with the team. Dying to see them & so is my youngest (6), football mad & seems to get it, if you know what I mean.
Two sets of hoops, should be a great day.

Will Celtic players be staying there since they will be playing in Belfast 6 days later.
Makes sense to allow them time to gel as a team and get some training sessions in without the hassle of the journies back and forth between Scotland and Ireland.
