Glad of a point but feels like a defeat.

Usually a point away from home in CL is accepted, but we should have been comfortable tonight.

All the big players were disappointing.

    Could bite us.

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
    * gutted tbh. 3 points were there for the taking, and we’ve missed more chances in 7 days in Europe than a month domestically. All a bit frantic, missing that confidence and composure that only comes with games at this level.

I expect us to turn them over at home, whether there is euro football after group stages will come down to leipzig games after shakhtar win last week.

Really * frustrating, played really well but the chances we miss are a joke, should've won that easily.

Chances, chances, chances… gotta take your chances!!!! Dropped 2 points there. GG, Kyogo, Maeda and Jota were all guilty of being wasteful. 17 shots to 5.

CCV was way to slow, too much pondering on the ball, they dropped off him because they knew he was no threat.

That game will most likely come back to haunt us.

On the whole, not the best result, blew it with some of those chances. Leaves the group wide open.

Still not got what it takes at this level

2 points dropped no 2 ways about it. Need to be more clinical. Still a long way to go but making it hard for ourselves m

That first goal just shows why mcgregor is never, ever a 6, diving in when absolutely no need.

Push him forward and get abdilgaard in.

We pick the worst matches to fluff chances. Let them off the hook with that. 2 points lost but still have to take heart from the performance.

With perspective thats a good result away from home but tbh im raging at the chances we missed. You absolute have to take 1 or 2 of those at this level.

One thing we could have done, that might've helped, is to add Giakoumakis to Kyogo, and take a midfielder off. Stepanenko is a wall, and overloading the short CB-s behind him could have provided better results instead of trying to create from midfield. But Ange wants to control the midfield at all times.

We took the plaudits after the Real game, even though we lost we got away with it because it was against the CL Champions. We needed a win tonight, usually a point away from home in the CL is a good point but we were the better team for the most part. I dont think we should be sugar coating this or glossing it up, if we want to establish ourselves as a CL level team we really do need to convert these chances. The stats don't lie, 180 minutes of CL football, 1 goal, but not scored by a Celtic player. Disappointed and a bit deflated feeling after that, I think our chances of going through in this group will be decided by the double header against RB, minimum of 4 points.
