Yup and no service to Kyogo whatsoever. We are physically inferior to these guys and most CL teams. Muscled off the ball too easily and slow to react to 2nd balls.

For years now over different managers we seem to have the same issue - we back off in open play far too much and are so susceptible to the ball behind the fullbacks. Haksa and Jota have no clue how to help out the Fullbacks. Too many players are ball watching and handing off responsibility to other players to watch the runner behind them.

2nd half will be a worry as our levels go down physically again.

Start was phenomenal, but I never trust us to win in Europe until we are at least 4 nil up...

 

This a classic Celtic away performance in Europe absolutely dominate then concede out of nowhere and it goes to pot. Need to get the finger out majorly in the second half here

 

Unless abada is carrying a injury I don't get why you'd chuck a new guy in for his first start ahead of him.

That shot on his left from that angle was a * take. Was never gonna do anything with that..

They look rattled when pressed and there's a bit of space on the transition so think I'd get Maeda on soon as. Their goalie bit flustered as well..

Came out flying but the goal went to the players heads I think. Couple slack moments and we lost it a bit.

Heads up 2nd half and play our game, we started being scared when they were pressing back, goalie ha smade some.good saves for them though, we could have had another couple

 

I think we worked our way back into it after 10 minutes of shock after the goal, by the end of the half 43 minutes odd we were back on top. It’s been a great away from home performance so far, just need to be more clinical in the 2nd half here.

Prospect of the Giako, Maeda, Abada etc coming on to help is a massive boost as well.

 

were finding it really hard to play against these top tier teams at the high pace we seem to play in scotland its as simple as that really

the quality of player and play from these guys is levels and levels above spl, what we need to be able to do is try and play really high tempo at differnt times in games, thing is our players good enough to do that on the whole ? or is that why we have them at celtic and top leagues dont have them ?

it clearly doesnt help us but hinders us massively playing against the dross we play in scotland week in and week out

 

Don’t think the passing has been that good either…for our standards. Also think we dropped our pace more and more after our goal.

Was never going to be easy. A draws a * out standing result against a team that pumped rb at home 4-1.

Get jota on the left for a bit. Meada on for his pressing. Then the big Greek to finish them off for the win!

 

Hate to say it but Shyved had looked pretty decent for them.

 

I thought we were pretty poor for 10 mins or so before their goal. Let them settle and didn't do a whole load with the ball when we had it, a bit pedestrian with our passing at times.

 

This 100%! No even an exaggeration either.

 

We are too easily rattled on the mental side. This is our biggest European hurdle.

 

Great start but nowhere near clinical enough AGAIN. Could/should have been a couple up. Both wingers not good enough so far.

And once again the heads and energy both drop when we make a mistake or concede a goal. Worrying tbh. Joe Hart absolutely shat it from that shot for their goal.

Hopefully pick it back up second half and take it right to them. But we NEED to take any chances that come our way, and be * solid at the back. They are a dangerous team.

How they can put them under so much pressure the. Drop off right after we score is a mental Problem definently
