It has to be the way forward, but it could work both ways for us..

More scrutiny is welcome but you could have Brother Beaton helping Brother Madden ensuring we're * :56:

They’ll find a way to use it to the huns advantage, no doubt about it.

In favour of this coming in, but I share the same scepticism as those who have already posted.

Said before on here the huns are in the oppostion box a lot of the time and the penalties they get are mostly correct, the problem is the ones that are not given in their own box

No * way will this be brought into our game....65 games for the zombie without a red card in the spl. The season ticket holders in black would be *.

If it came in to the game i would expect VAR replays to be filed under national security and hidden from fans.:fear:

    The Huns are master cheats..

They'll be kicking it off hands from a yard away, getting last minute penalties and hanging a leg out to get a last man sent off..

Guaranteed they'll benefit most from this..

Mutants refereeing and on the monitor's, what could go wrong?

If we had a fair, level playing field with impartial official's, I'd be more for it....but we absolutely don't, so I'm deffo no..

Unfortunately you may be right about the masons in black taking care of their favourite team. But overall for me there is no question its the right way to go and also I think it would make it harder for the masons in black to get away with all the "honest mistakes" as they would now be highlighted even more for all to see.

Sure there would be calls that would go against us but look at last weekends game against Dundee United as an example. Firstly there was the tackle by Fuchts on McCarthy in the first half. It was late and studs up and over the ball. Thats a red card and now they are down to 10. Plus Fuchts staying on the park went on to have a man of the match performance for them which would never have happened. Now then you could point to the PK they should have got sure give them that but they would already have been playing with 10 so that scenario which lead to the pk would have been less likely to occur. But anyway give them the PK. Then there was their keepers kung fu style style studs to the stomach of Jota in the second half that was another red card and now they are down to 9. On the balance that probably leads to us winning the game by getting those big calls correct.

Bottom line for me is given the sheer extent of "honest mistakes" we have to content with against us we would overall benefit from VAR IMHO.

This will work one of 2 ways. Either completely * the huns, or open the world's eyes up to how corrupt our officials actually are.

Anyone thinking it might change one bit is kidding themselves on. The nes sitting in the VaR office will be from the same ilk as the referees on the pitch. I see what a disaster it is in Belgium and Germany. If the general refereeing quality is sh*te, the var wont change one thing. And for us it means the huns will still get it all their way.

I'll be surprised if there isn't a protest from our officials.

They will be confused as to what to do now.

This is exactly how it will go. Another avenue for further cheating.

I honestly think they'll be the club that suffers most. Officials simply cannot get away with cheating with VAR. There opens an avenue for serious investigation.
