good on seville they deserve it they have been trying for years to win it and now they have even though many of their first team players were bought or moved away on bosman eg baptista they have beat the english and took their pride with a 4-0 whopping

 

They didn't deserve to get beat 4-0. :S

 

but the english think they have the best leauge in the world and are going to win everything so they needed a smashing

was a good game with a many goals. I think sevilla really deserved the win, although 4-0 was a bit too harsh.

to be fair I think Sevilla deserved to win maybe 2-0 at most. 4-0 was far too harsh on Boro, The Sevilla captain nearly got done for manslaughter with his tackle on Viduka which should have been a penalty then straight from it Sevilla burst up the park and got a second resulting then in Boro falling to pieces

 

sevilla deserved the win lets just hope barca can get something similiar to that scoreline would that be amazing lol

 

Boro were not in the same class as Seville. They looked like a team that finished 14th in the league. Seville has

McClaren's man management skills has been shown up again. They looked like a team that didn't play together before and that's his fault.

As for Boateng, he's crap

 

I think last night was never a 4-0 , anyone who watches football regulary will see this. Viduka had a clear cut chance to make it 1-1 , boro had a stone wall penalty turned away. The fact of the matter was Seville was the lucky side on the night, and thats fair enough as Boro rode their luck all the way through the tourny.

 

Seville deserved to win on the night, Boro were outplayed and outclassed.

However Boro should have got a penalty and Viduka missed a great chance early in the second half. It could easily have been 2-1 at this stage.

But as Dempsey says, they looked a team 14th in the Premiership.
