When will people learn ? How stupid are they, they probably done it for a couple of grand as well or it will be a case of "sniffle sniffle it was a bad man who gave us the bag etc"

Says they could be looking at 25 years plus. I doubt they will get that much but still, they must be terrified.

I know people will say silly girls, should have known better, at 19 people make stupid decisions.

 

The amount of coverage they are getting you'd think they had been taken hostage. They took a risk and broke a law in another country and this is how its gone. I have no sympathy and can't say I care. I wish the news would stop reporting on this, I've seen it about 10 times over the past couple of days and feel less sorry for them every time.

People are getting set up all the time, so it could be true! When the Police arrest someone for smuggling/possesion they are so * proud to show it to the whole world instead of investigating the case. Loads and LOADS of innocent people are getting caught every year!

 

Of course they have been setup.

Bad drug lord desguised as a local: "Excuse me would you like to take these crisps to my friend in the UK, they just love them but cant get them over there, heres 30 packets, dont open any though and i'll give you £2000 for your troubles"

Innocent girls: "this is definatly not a drug deal"

 

I think they have been set up, but not by the way explained above.

It is widely known that the drug gangs send mules out to be caught, just to keep them in the right with the authorities. 1.5 million in street value coke is not a lot to the people who produce it in South America. So in reality they have probably fed these 2, to the authorities with a bit of coke to feed them a bust, while sending their real mules through another way with much much more.

I can't help feel sorry for anyone that has to face what they will face, stupid decision or not those prisons are * on earth.

No doubt Cameron or someone will beg for their release, as they did with the mule in Thailand in the 90's.

 

Those girls knew exactly what they were doing, the one from here (Ireland) is a dancer in a club and was in ibiza on holiday then flew to peru to bring that stuff back, loads of people on my Facebook where posting 'missing girl' posts before it came to light that she'd went on a wee drug adventure. Hope she enjoys her years in a peruvian prison

 

The media trying to make people feel sorry for them. If it was 2 guys in a council estate somewhere in the UK had been caught with that amount of coke they would be brandished the scum of the Earth.

They'll get * all sympathy from me.
