    Awe well we’re going to be kicked up and down the park with Beaton in charge the day.Usual story he’ll give them a few yellows later in the 2nd half to make it look like he’s got game under control.

    * * man so nervous for this. There is so, so much riding on today. Obviously there's the stand-alone game which delivers us a trophy, but also that it would nicely tie up the end of one of the most successful period in our history. A four season spell in which we win 4 successive trebls would be incredible, and today we have the chance to do it. If you'd have told me after the semi-final defeat to Rangers in 2016 that we'd be on the cusp of this, I don't think I'd have believed you.

    On top of that, a win today could be massive for us in terms of confidence. The wins over Lille and Killie set us up nicely for today and could be the start of a mini-revival. You hope that a win today just sparks that winning feeling in the players and it gives them a real boost heading into the next few fixtures.

    If he sticks with the same team I'd be happy, but ideally I'd like to see Barkas back in. Love Scott Brown but there can't be room for sentimentality today.

    Starting to get the buzz now. Got my usual middle of the night phone call from my cousin in America wanting to talk about the game, had my hearty Sunday breakfast and have got the beers in. Will go through my usual superstitious routines (I'm sure we all have them) right up to kick off and then settle down to hopefully watch the Bhoys make history. Yes, it'll be a cup final different from any other cup final we have been in with no fans present and the time of year it's being played however, I will celebrate it like I celebrate any final we are in.
