15 matches played, 10 goals and 6 assists in all tournaments. The man is a dud.

SS on #UCL: "For us to get that win, with the quality and confidence we played with, was great. Especially away from home."

SS: "The next #UCL game is against @FCBayernEN. We’ll go into that game high in confidence and hopefully get another result."

SS: "For me, I’m always looking to create and score goals. I feel even better than last year.

SS: "I’m trying to take my game to another level and improve every day. I’m focused and it's great to hit double figures in goals."

SS: "I’m looking over my games and trying to improve. I have that enjoyment back in football and now I’m looking to improve."

SS: " I’ll stay behind in training for another 10 or 15 minutes and work on certain things."

SCOTT Sinclair believes he can take his game up a notch and is doing extra work in training as he looks to build on the success of last season.

The Hoops forward was a unanimous choice as Scotland's Player of the Year for his contribution to Celtic's treble-winning success, and he's continued his impressive form in this campaign, netting his 10th goal of the season in Wednesday night's 3-0 victory over Anderlecht.

Speaking at Lennoxtown ahead of Saturday's Premiership game against Hibernian, Sinclair said: “For us to get that win with the quality and confidence we showed was great, especially away from home.

“It’s very satisfying for us. Many critics write us off but we go into every game with confidence and hopefully we can get results and pick up points along the way.”

Sinclair has now scored seven goals in eight European appearances this season since Celtic began their qualification for the UEFA Champions League group stages back in July, and the 28-year-old is aiming to continue to build on his impressive start to the campaign.

“I’m always looking to create and score goals," he said. "I feel better even than last year. I’m trying to take my game to another level and improve every day. I’ve been staying behind in training for another 10 or 15 minutes to work on certain things. I’m focused and it’s great to get to double figures with my goals so early in the season.

“The first season I was playing week in, week out and now I’m looking back over those games to identify ways I can improve. I have that enjoyment back when playing football and I’m looking to build on that and improve. So if I can build on last year, I’ll be happy.”

He's here for the 10. In fact, I think we'll be his last club.

Would love it if he stayed. 27 is at peak and could still get a move back down south....but he seems level headed enough to know that therr is more to a career in England's riches...being happy and family. Celtic is making him happy and his family seem happy to be here.

Keep it up Scotty and youll be one of the greats

He won't get better than us at this point, would love if he retired here. Would probably be replaced at some point but what a presence about the club he could be, and as good a backup as they come.

Money turns all their heads. If he does great for another season here, if someone offers him more money down south, he'll be gone. Another few million in the bank for retirement he'll be thinking about. And why not! hes a family he needs to take care off, grand kids to come etc so that extra few million come in handy.
