This lad COULD be a great signing but it’s a risk. He’s still largely unproven and we need the complete opposite of that.

I would take him as long as we sign someone with experience playing in one of the top European leagues and international level.

I would love to have a big * Bobo Balde in the team mate but it doesn't suit the style we play. I really don't understand why Rodgers wants him. My problem is Rodgers will have him coming out of defence with the ball, same as he does with all our CB's.

The more I think of this, almost trying to convince myself of it, the more I just fear for our backline.


Others are claiming to look at a defence with Caldwell and McManus in it, McManus was actually decent, Caldwell not so much, but the pair of them at least had a fantastic keeper behind them that controlled that backline and installed confidence in the team.

Maybe more level pegging, only reason being we know what we get from Jozo, McKenna might * it with the pressure. Only one way to find out I suppose.

 

Of course mate ,risk is always involved with any sort of dealings.Still, I don't mind an old fashion ,no nonsense center back ,that is McKenna.

He's not proven at a high level just before his injury i thought ffs surely this is a joke , but now i feel he has the making of a good defender, is better than I thought but 10 mill absolutely no way ,max 5 maybe add 1 more if he makes 50 appearances, I can't see us going any way close to wot they are asking ,and tbh I want to know where this came from ,and why that figure is being quoted ,he has done nothing .

 

Not worth a penny more than 2 million in my opinion and thats at a push.

I was gonna say doesnt really seem like a rodgers signing, come to think of it what the * typifies a rodgers signing???

 

7 trophies in a row and were still all doubting manager...until we lose or fail to retain a trophy why is there so much doubt about the most successful period we have ever had?theres not a manager we have had that has not made bad signings but none have gave us 7 in a row.
