Not bad goal ratio for us.
    1 goal every 2 games.
He was also in the last Celtic team to win the League Cup

Not at all, but his Mums parents lived in Adelaide near his family and might have influenced him a bit. They bought him a giant teddy bear in Rangers strip for his bedroom.

I don't think he GAF either way. But I remember when NL and other Tic players were getting * from RFC fans he volunteered that he had never had a problem, always found Rangers fans very friendly etc

Had a reputation as a *-stirrer too, as others have mentioned on here

What do you think then? How dare he score for Motherwell against his future employers and celebrate it?

Not just any goal tho was it ?

And to celebrate it the way he did for a so called Celtic fan was disturbing.

He was a Motherwell player and he scored to stop us winning the league in their back garden. If you're holding that against him I find that ridiculous.

He's Australian. Chances of him actually being a Celtic fan are slim to none especially considering the way he celebrated those goals.

He was a good Celtic player and that's it. When he scored those goals for Motherwell he had no idea he would end up at Celtic and he was actually hoping for a move to Rangers at the time as thy had made a bid iirc.

For the record he grew up a Celtic fan. Remember there being interviews with him in the papers with him saying that when he first joined us and there were pictures of him at Celtic Park in a Celtic top from when he was younger. Can't find any links mind you but definitely one of us.

Not that it matters anyway, was a great servant for us and I never held those 2 goals against us against him. His 30 odd goals in his first season which won us the league put paid to that.

We should never have let go of him when we did. Him and Keane upfront for the remainder of that season would've been lethal. Later on he could've had a partnership with Hooper too.
