    Time for him to go.

Only thing I’ll be a bit sad about is the fact that we (fans) won’t be able to give him a proper send off that he deserves.

2nd best captain weve ever had, would prefer he stayed for another season as replacing him and his influence will be nearly impossible. Legend.

Question is why wasn't he offered a coaching role in the youth setup , or maybe he was and just wanted a change

Be sad to see him go but that’s football and we are rebuilding from top to bottom. Replacing his leadership and character will be tough but we should have players ability wise to take over his position. Always good to have a player in the team everyone loves but the other teams fans can’t stand lol.

Been dreading this day Broony could win games standing in the tunnel. Absolute legend. All the best to you

Will definitely be weird seeing him in Aberdeen gear in the opposing dugout. Best of luck to him though, think he'll be a fantastic coach.

    Legend :notworthy

It’s the right time for us and for him. It’s arguable that the right time was before now if we’re being honest.

Ultimately, a new contract isn’t something that should be offered without a new DoF and manager in place. Not having those in place means Brown doesn’t get the certainty he wants (and deserves) about what him staying for another year would mean, and what kind of role he would fulfil.

Legendary figure. Will be tough to replace on and off the park.

Should be kept around, not in a playing capacity tho.

Would have no issues with him transitioning here into a backroom role, think that’s the next logical step for him.

I think this was always going to be his final season whether we won the tenth or not :55:

Time away doesn’t mean he won’t be back... hopefully he succeeds and will want to come back.

Now if only JK had been sensible and gone to Hibs when they came calling.

I’m happy for him to go, it’s the right time. Closing stagings of his career and a good first job in coaching to ply his trade further. Opportunities like being assistant at a club the size of Aberdeen don’t come around often for your first rodeo. He’s been a fantastic servant to the club and can leave with his head held high. Good luck to him if he decides it’s time.

Really feels like an end of an era now. We've had some absolutely amazing times with Broony, im sure we all wish him all the best at Aberdeen and if things go well for him theres no doubt he will return to Celtic as part of a management team in the future.

He could be Celtic manager material in the future but he needs to make sure he doesnt fall into the same trap as Neil Lennon did. Broonys man-management skills and motivations skills will no doubt be top notch but he has to now study the game, he has to focus on becoming extremely knowledgeable tactically if he is to compete with the best managers around.

Good luck Broony and thanks for the Good Times. Hail! Hail!

Leaders like him dont come around often. Legend to the Club.

We can start the new 'On The Park' leadership transition before the Coaching staff are in.

All the best to him! Dont mind the sheep tbh, they rekon they hate the huns more than us! There also never a threat even at their deadliest ha

Sorry but this type of thing has got us in the situation we are in just now, it should be the best possible person for the jobs at Celtic. We really need to move away from this jobs for the boys policy.
