    It's really the perfect time to move him into a coaching position, use him sparingly if needed as I'm sure he'll still want to play but his focus should be on getting the players going and passing on his experience.

    He could do a lot more good for this team off the pitch than on it now, we have plenty midfielders in the squad ready to step in.

    See alot of people saying that he's captain he should step down and he should know his time is up etc..

    Hes stuck between a rock and a hard place.. he probably knows he can't play 90 minutes game in game out but he can hardly refuse to play if he's picked.. imagine that happened..

    Said before he still definitely has a roll to play at the club if used correctly..

    But as you said he's been thrown to the wolves

    Needs his game time managed as we all know but someone was on here saying he wasn't a legend the other day... What a mental thing to say. I'm not going to look back, find it and call them a hun cos I know tensions were high but ffs man. Can see how much it's hurting him not being able to fix this on or off the park.
