My wee lad could go past him and hes 6 years of age ffs.
Constantly drops between the centrebacks, looks so slow and is being caught out.
We are a better side when he isnt playing and that is a fact!

They have started the season well ,and didn't attack much because we stopped them .

Age has caught up with him, he still has a part to play this season but he can't play most games, he comes too deep when he is the sitting midfielder needs to take the ball at least 5 yards in front of the centre half not beside him bcoz all that does is makes it easy to press us. It should be McGregor and ntcham with Christie in front of them or mo and play Forrest and frimpong on the wings. Broony has been brilliant for us but the pace and tempo we should be playing at he can't.

Sad to say but its the beginning of the end, he's past it now. Most folk wanted shot of him before Rodgers came in yet his game improved massively. Just hope he's strong enough to say to the gaffer his legs dont have it anymore.

Love Brown, but reminded me of Lustig towards the tail end of his time here. A drop of the should with a bit of acceleration and you’re past him.

It’s actually part of the reason we’ve looked so defensively vulnerable imo. There hasn’t been much protection from midfield.

He still has a huge part to play this season, but for the first time I would honestly say that right now at least our strongest XI doesn’t include him.

He's a different player with different strengths these days. We should judge him on how well he does in this new role and not on the fact that he doesn't have the pace and power he had in his prime.

It's far too early to call how good a season he will have or how much of a role he will play.

I don't think he stood out as having an especially bad game today.

What’s the deal with Soro? Another Kouassi waiting to happen if not given a good chance. Our only current midfield player that should be replacing Brown.

I thought he was pretty good today. Broke up play and was tidy on the ball. Utd barely tested our goal either. When they did it came down our Right on the break.

If your judging him on the high standards he has shown then its more down to the whole team trying to get match fit ,but again everyone wants to have a go at brown because they want ntcham to stay and be in the side ,which is fair , but i still think he will leave at the first chance ,broony is a committed player for us ,a lot of the times that goes for * all to fans and it gets took for granted .

I absolutely love the very bones of him, Lenny needs to protect him in this huge season though.

He has a pivotal role to play, but yesterday is a day others should be preferred. He offered nothing and a young dynamic more attacking minded lad (Soro/Connell) should be in....in my opinion.

I thought he was much better after we switched to 3-5-2 but before that the game was just passing him by.

I've seen this movie before though and I'm not writing him off just yet.

He definitely needs rotated more this season.

Age is definitely catching up with his legs, he can’t keep up with the amount of games so it will be vital to rotate him through the season.

He’s important for the big games but for games against teams just sitting in there’s no real need to play him. Calmac plays the sitting role very well and can give Soro a chance.
