Apparently back in the Scotland squad for the England game.

I hope it's just the one game tbh, if even, as we are really reliant on him in the midfield at the moment and he's been tremendous so far this season.

I'm happy if it is for just the England game, a chance to play in a competitive game for Scotland at Wembley is a very big deal.

Keith Jackson though, guy's a * and normally spouts pish.

Looks like he may come out of retirement completely. Not sure how I feel about that. He's playing his best football for a long time, can understand why he'd want to come back in and try and galvanise a poor Scotland team.

He seems fitter than ever so hopefully it won't be too much for him and affect his form for us.

He should not under any circumstances be considering going back full time, his form is partially down to the fact he is giving himself more rest during international breaks.

I really hope this is a one off.

Though would seem strange to come out of retirement for one game... :39:

If he does, watch him get injured playing for Scotland I don't like this either.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Seems a bit daft coming back for one game?! I hope he dosnt. He'd lose his rag down there and get injured

If it wasn't for Gordon Strachan Scott Brown wouldn't be at Celtic.

I can see why he feels compelled to help his old manager in his hour of need.

Congrats to him and his wife on the birth, I admit I was critical last season but this season he's been sensational he's 31 now so were looking at maybe 3-4 more seasons if Henderson, McGregor etc aren't seen as his successors then we need to start planning now

I don't think him returing to the Scottish squad is a good idea.
Wonder how Brendan feels about it.

This seems like a one-off as well, couldn't see him coming back for a game against Slovenia.

He'll soon retire again not long after Jordan Henderson bags the 4th.

This is bad news for Celtic. Brown himself has been on record saying how he's feeling the benefit of having the rest during the international breaks, and it's clear what an effect that has had on him.

It dosnt do the scotland Team any good him coming back for a one off game

They need get used to him not being there and other players should be getting a chance ahead of him now he's gone
