It has a fat guy singing opera dressed in an LED jumpsuit murdering *.

Unless yer man fae the Go Compare adverts comes out as being the next Jeffrey Dahlmer, I’m pretty sure it can go down as sci fi

Brilliant good friend, I forgot about the Hammer classics. IMO Peter Cushing was the greatest actor of all time, closely followed by Christopher Lee.

Currently we are sitting on just over 200 films that are eligible. Have discounted those that are not sci-fi. Will post the list maybe later today so people can see what has been and if there are others that they want to add to that. I have a list of about 40+ to add also to that - at least a few of which people will be kicking themselves for not having mentioned, lol.

I hope so too mate, well they've been here since before we were, it's just a matter of when the hidden hand decides what we should be told and when, meanwhile if your interested in a book or two check out Millennial Hospitality by Charles James Hall and Devon Island, Canada's Roswell.
    both really good reads.

@Padmill its pretty good, Silent Running. Think Mark Kermode rates it his favourite Sci-fi. And Edge of Tomorrow is already on the list also :)

    1951 original ofc :)

I suppose the easiest way of doing this would be if people want to do as 2 parter, is make the distinction between space based/other planet/s &/or aliens etc as one and Earth based as the other? For now we can just keep pooling them all in here together and see how/what other people's thoughts/opinions are.

Take it Equilibrium didn't count? It could be sci-fi but also action so it's difficult to put it into one genre :43:

Only asking as I like this movie except for the occasional shody piece of cgi :84:
