Lassie goes missing last week and the copper has now been arrested on suspicion of murder..

Apparently he's been done for decent exposure before and remains have been found but may take age's to identify as the body must've been burnt (I'm imagining)..

Took them age's to piece this together. They were searching Clapham Common park for day's even when it was established she had been seen/left walking towards Brixton..

The guy's missus seems to have been in on it to some extent also..

Very sad for the lassies family and a really strange case. Copper sounds a complete predator..

 

If guilty I hope he gets put inside with the pyscho type that have given up on being released, I am sure they will have fun with him.

 

Just breaking that they’ve found remains, he was armed response for Westminster.

 

She was dumped in the old golf course and paintball site not far from here. His old garage in Dover is cordoned off as well. Might be where he murdered her?
Makes you wonder if he's done this before.

 

Me and the missus just said exactly the same that he must've done this before..

How have they got so much info in a short space of time considering they were pretty stumped for almost a week still checking the common?

Seems to have moved so quickly..

They said he was off duty but could just be a sleekit m.o of whacking out his badge when stopping her..

Could be what happened in the Karen Buckley case up here where they knew who was responsible but kept it quiet until they had the full picture.

Saw a tweet yesterday that hit home for me in light of this.

Basically saying how every women you know has walked home scared, has had to fake a call, double back, etc... And it's true. * terrifying.

 

And then ‘not all men’ trending.

We really are a horrendous species.

 

I've never understood why people go on the defensive whenever something like this happens. I didn't realise just how insecure people were until social media caught on.

Was exactly the same with the MeToo movement.

Everyone knows it isn't all men, but it doesn't mean that there isn't a problem. Yet a lot of men take personal offense to it. Baffling.

 

It's pathetic isn't it really.

Like yes ok, I'm sure men have been sexually assaulted and so on...... But whether that's true or not, men by and large in a huge sweeping majority do not have to live with the baseline normalised fear women have to cope with.

We just don't. The fact these "men" feel the need to say "men too" is, as you say testament to the horrid species we are.

 

Was reading abit on a sleuth forum that a bus dashcam had picked his rental car up on the road where she last confirmed to be..

He'd only just finished his shift a couple of hour's before so must have been cruising about looking for a victim..

I'm 6'1, quite a big guy and think I'm very streetwise. Even i get on edge in certain place's in London so can imagine how some women can be scared..

I'll cross the road or speed ahead a bit faster if I'm near a lassie at night...as sometimes you can feel the uneasiness. Loads other's must do the same..

 

I know what you mean.

I'm hardly an intimidating presence but still check myself if I I'm walking about at night and getting to close to a women out a alone.
