That’s a shame as I went to the San Siro when they beat us 2-0 in the champions league game .
Brilliant atmosphere. -

Was in Milan when they played Arsenal in the Europa League a few years ago, went and loved the stadium tbh. Took a good 15 minute walk getting up the big spiral to our seats.

Was in it in 2007 for the knockout stage of CL. Place was pretty dilapidated and worn. Hole in the ground for toilets. School tuck shop for beveridge and chocolate bars. Seats were no more than buckets or planks of wood attached to concrete and the stairs were a death trap and steep as *. But the atmosphere around the ground and inside the stadium was brilliant and got goosebumps walking round the spiral columns. Glad to say I was there.

First time I was there was in 93 and watched AC Milan play Foggia with the likes of Baresi, Maldini, Boban and co and was genuinely a dream to be there and it didn’t disappoint in any way, been many times since and despite folk saying it’s aging it’s appeal never dies for me, the flags, pyro, noise where there even back then long before any real ultra scene existed in most of Europe, I last went there when we lost 1-0 to Inter in the Europa League, was still a great experience despite it being maybe my 8th visit, sat in with the home fans down the side after a marathon walk up those steps, the 4 euro for a coke Id normally tell to * off couldn’t get bought quick enough after that treck, if I was a season ticket holder there it would definitely be in the first tier :celt_2:

fond memories of pishing up the back of the stadium and watching it trickle all the way down the stairs, good times
-
If Sevco get them in Europe then no need to get the demolishers in.
-
One of the most Iconic stadiums there has ever been. Will be sad to see it go...
If I was one of them though I'd be staying there for a few years, send the other team to the new. Time for them to part ways and have there own grounds ffs. There two huge teams. Not a fan of rivals ground sharing, like half and half scarf.
Im going to have replies to this with a legitimate reason as to why the have been sharing...Liam Scales likes this. -
Iconic but a dump.

Rydo1888* and bagforlife like this.

Just get Milan to host a "charity" game this time.
Spin it that the charity money is for the British armed forces.
Then just as the teams are about to walk up the tunnel at full time, announce they aren't giving the money to the British armed forces, but instead are handing all profit over to sinn Fein, lock the * in and watch as they completely wreck the place.
Would be great entertainment for others.
