I would gladly take him for a good price. He has huge potential. He played for my local Swedish side and he was smashing it in the top league. Hope this happens.

He would not be a starter obviously right away, but i believe that he could develop in to one. He's far better then MJ, thats for sure. He can play LW/CAM/RW and is very creative

Thought we backed away from this move due to the complications of him being at a Russian club?

Djurgården still hopes for Sead Haksabanovic - but according to Sportbladet's information, there may now be a move to Scottish Celtic after all.

According to informed sources, the Champions League club is making another attempt to sign the 23-year-old.

It was a few weeks ago that the Russian newspaper Sport-Express reported that Celtic tried to sign Sead Haksabanovic from Rubin Kazan. The player has not yet broken his contract and is trying to break free from Russia.

    Celtic is the main track
But at the moment, the club prefers to sell the player and that he is thus bought out of his contract instead of going on a season-long loan, as most other foreign players have done. But two weeks ago Celtic's signing attempt failed and the player is now training on his own.

According to Sportbladet's Scottish information, Celtic are now making a new attempt to try to release the player from Rubin Kazan and get him into the team building as soon as possible. Celtic is also Haksabanovic's main track and the opportunity to play in the Champions League and to win titles attracts the 23-year-old.

Djurgården hopes as long as nothing is clear
If the recruitment attempt is not successful and he does not find a club before September 1, Djurgården can recruit him until next summer, when he is already registered with the club and that there is then an opportunity to loan him even though the transfer window in Sweden has closed.

It is also not out of the question that Haksabanovic will come to Kaknäs and train if Celtic's second recruitment attempt fails.

Bit of an Elyounoussi vibe about him.

After watching about 30 secs of a youtube clip.

    Quite a good comparison that..

My concern looking at him he doesn't look quick. I like my wingers to be quick..

Especially if they're to go non stop, pressing high and just in general to go by a man....although this player does look really skilful..

Has clear talent and two footed but other's will know more. Never watched him in a game..

Glad this rumour's come back, I was keen on him first time around. We don't see a whole lot of end product in the YouTube vids but he's ridiculously skillful, strong and two-footed. We could do with another winger who excels in one-on-one situations. Also very versatile, which is a plus.

@Skelleto, what's his end product like?

His end product is quite good once he settles but that has been his main problem in the last couple of years, that he have never really settled anywhere. Was absolutely Brilliant for Halmstad and Norrköping, never got a chance (zero games) at West Ham, then moved to Rubin Kazan and where he never really settled in and then the conflict with Ukraine started.

This could be a real gem in my opinion, with low risk.

I'm sold :50: sounds like an Ange signing, high potential player who's lost his way a little. Also doesn't sound like anyone else is really in for him. I reckon this one might be a go-er.

He isnt the fastest but he is faster then the videos show. At least in my opinion. He skips past players alot. He is very skillfull and rely more on that. Not sure how that would work against packed defences in scotland though.

    Good to know..

I just like pacey wingers. But if you're pretty mobile and have good close control and a lot of skill....that is dangerous as *....as well as being two footed..

Being skillful and able to bamboozle defender's with movement going either way as he's two footed....is probably more of a plus for us than just raw pace..

We need that bit of guile and something different. A player like this and Jota on the other side will unlock low block's domestically more than just explosive pace..

At first I was probably glad this didn't go through. But more creativity is massively welcome..

My issue is that he seems to play off the left and we have plenty who can do that.

I know he can play on the right but is it the same way that Jota can also play off the right?

From what I've read, he can play on the left and right.. and across attacking midfield.

Fits Ange's comments about wanting a player who can fit multiple positions.
