100% Turnbull can do everything Christie can, but better and with less greed and ego in the mix.

Much more disciplined in sticking to his position as well.

Take the last 13 games in to consideration and not many, if any of the players deserve to get a game for us, but tonight that team showed something and the players who came on showed they have it in them.

The choice is Christie or Turnbull, the answer is Turnbull.

Need to stop trying to force Christie in to the side and playing him as a right winger, he never stays there. And if he tries to fit both in on Sunday it will not be a good system with Christie cutting in too much and getting in the way.

Would a midfield 3 of Soro sitting and Turnbull and Christie either side work ?think would be a lot of goals

Hopefully never plays again for us.

I know he will, but I really hope he doesn’t :giggle1:

Turnbull also signed last window and wants to be here, christie is refusing new contract. Why keep playing someone who wants to get out the club.

Think he knows Turnbull is taking his place.

Celtic have posted pics of Julien, McGregor, Turnbull, soro, ajer, hazard tonight...Christie has liked them all except the Turnbull image

Maybe I'm reading too much in to that ..but weird that's the only one ha.

I still think Christie is a decent player but his attitude has been awful.

The non-celebration of goals has been grating me for some time.

He might reevaluate and get back to his best, but he should be out of the team until he gets the message.

Was a fringe player under the rat for a reason, never really found that form again he had that season, should be humbled by some bench time till his attitude improves.

Hopefully Celtic are touting him to other clubs so we can get some money in to buy a decent winger .

Even seeing him taking that free kick at the end was infuriating.

He’s simply nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.

    He needs humbled.

Really is night and day with him and turnbull , turnbull has had two assists in two games from corners and there should have been a third only but a good safe from the killie keeper , should be benched and sold in january , playing for himself and his next move!! Not a team player, thinks he is better than he is

That is really harsh, for one, Turnbull’s being playing Christie’s best position that Christie hasn’t had the chance to because he’s filling in other positions and working very unselfishly for it.

They both try a shot when they can, they both play a pass that *might* come off and isn’t the safe option. Christie isn’t doing it from a position he’s most comfortable in, need to appreciate him continually doing that, even when he knows he won’t look his best doing it.

He has been kinda annoying me lately, seems more selfish, but he’s not in hos best position. I can imagine Turnbull or Rogic playing right wing would seem similar.

It’s like the criticism that Rooney got at Man Utd under Ferguson, when he’d play him out of position because he trusted him to do the job, but wouldn’t be at his best.
