Not saying he will be utter *, but is he really going to be any better than Forrest or Ely on the wings? Is a loan 33 year old who hasn't won * all really what we need over giving johnston, dembele or even frimpong more game time?

I was always a fan of Snoddy when he played for Scotland, scored goals and kept on the attack. However he is 33 now and any loan fee plus wages would be expensive for him as I bet he earns about 50k a week. He'd probably still do okay but just not worth he money. The money would probably buy a decent championship midfielder.

 

33 isn’t too old if he’s fit. One year loan if the finances can be worked out imo is good for us. You’d have a Celtic fan in the team giving 100% in every game. For me some of the players are not committed enough. Forrest and Elyounoussi need competition.

 

Maybe a few years back but not now not saying he could find job for us but it's too late for him
