Right wing clubs and fans

My knowledge is limitless.

 

I'd say Eastern European clubs are almost exclusively right-wing. Many of them racists and/or neo-*. Zenit being one that springs most prominently to the mind.

Have to say it's the same with Italian clubs as well. Lazio are well documented but racism in Italian football is commonplace at pretty much every club.

The Spaniards aren't much different either.

No it's not. Remember when they played England and players like Wright-Phillips were mercilessly booed and had monkey chants aimed at them? Eto'o was racially abused a lot in Spain too.

 

I can remember one of their managers being racist about Henry to Reyes. Think it was Aragones.

Yea Spain can be just as bad as Italy.

 

That's because the game was played at the Bernabéu and attended by Real's racist ultra were in attendance. I don't many Spain games have been played there since.

Not denying that racism takes place just that it isn't as bad as the other countries you have mentioned.

 

There's an element of this sort of stuff all over the place. It's a lot worse in some places than others and sometimes you just don't hear about it.

Nearly every English club has right wing elements it's just someone like Chelsea will have more than Oldham but they all have them..

Couldn't you say the same about the Palestinian flag as well? They lock folk up for being gay - that's pretty right wing.

 

palestine is nowhere near left wing though as they're predominantely muslim, not accepting of anyone who isn't muslim, attacking jews, making women second class, If that's left wing then i'm pretty scared if the future is as left wing as palestine. As left wing is supposed to be supporting multicuturalism and giving power to the people, yet palestine doesn't give power to the people, just saying palestine is left wing because israel is supposedly right wing, is not a good argument, by any means

I'm not saying you did - it's just that when people attribute a left or right wing leaning to a club, I'm not sure that they associate the Palestinian flag among a support with the club being right wing.

If someone saw our fans waving Palestinian flags, could they reasonably call us right wing?

 

I supose they could.
But people who know of the oppression of the Palestinian people in their own land would know that it is the bond with the Nationalists in Ireland as their oppression is the same as us.
