He is so good. Even the smaller things like him leaving the ball for Kyogo's third for O'riley to cross. Vision, engine and eye for a goal

Don't suppose anyone has a link to the goal he scored against the diets with the Japanese commentary?

The last 2 games there have been the pre-season Hatate, looks unbelievably good.

Looking forward to him cutting them open again next week.

What a difference he makes to the team. Turnbull is good for a goal and is composed on the ball, but Hatate is levels above.

I was one of his biggest critics last season when he fell off form and was giving the ball away easily, gassing early etc.

Absolutely * delighted to be proved wrong so far - this boy has been sensational. The balance of him, McGregor and O'Riley in midfield is beautiful,

Having this guy on form for Europe will be crucial, offers so much in the middle of the park.

What a player. His passing was something else. Now I understand why the Japanese was more excited about him than anyone else.

does anyone else agree that if he adds clinical crossing and shooting to his game he will be unplayable. more to come from him. he seems re-energised from the summer and the minor injury at start of the season.

So many great mindsets at the club right now.

Completely different to profile of players we were bringing in under both Rodgers and Lennon I'd argue

Those managers did not really care about the person behind the player. We had many * in our team who have went on the be * at their current clubs or * as pundits. Very intresting actually.

    that was last feb.
i can show you one from hearts last weekend when he fluffed one, or at the weekend past.

not just him, but the whole team when we are in CL games and generally in europe over the last 10 seasons our failure to be clinical has cost us big time, you get less chances and need to be ruthless.

    - mc gregor away to bayern
    - mc gregor away to bayer? I think it was mc gregor
    - griffiths - i can recall a few times he missed easy chances to give us important goals

look at that union team - that 3rd goal they should have had at home killed them
psv - their lack of being ruthess or clinical cost them last week.

I am not saying hatate isnt a class player, but he needs to be more ruthless and clinical in his crossing and finishing to always strive to become a better player, he is still young and strikes me as the player to do the extra bits compared to others out drinking and fannying on social media.

Started the season so well. Take that form into the champs league and he may very well be strutting his stuff at the world cup.

Some of his passing was unreal today.

The drilled first time volley to Abada first half was particularly outrageous.

Don’t even think he was at his best either, few gears still to go up.

Had a great first half. Some of his passing was phenomenal. Looked absolutely burst the 10 mins or so before he was subbed off, though. Made an * of 3 attacks in the space of a couple of minutes - culminating in that wild shot with his left foot from outside the box.

Would be amazed if he isn't in the Japan squad at the WC.

Thats the exact type of passing that will break any press in world football and leave us with the ability to cause real damage in attack. Even Madrid can't stop that speed and accuracy of a pass. Incredible talent that's still young and will only get better.

There was another pass in the 2nd half that was outrageous. Think it was a throw in and he pinged a 40 yard diagonal to Abada, I haven’t seen anything like this guy, if he doesn’t go to the WC then the Japanese manager has rocks for brains.
