That performance reminded me of the first half v Valencia. Brave on the ball away from home and putting a real quality team under pressure. Lenny had his tactics spot on in fairness

think we played pretty much our best away european game in years, matching up against a strong french side that probably cost more than our team to put together and plays in a strong league against multi million pound teams and players week in week out, but we should have beat them so they are pish * :56:

Can’t believe that ref changed his mind about the Bayo red. He so clearly waved it away right after it aswell.

Missed the game tonight but would've taken a draw all day long.Reassuring and quite refreshing reading through the positive comments regarding Lennon and the team's performance.

My full take on the whole game.....

Draw was pretty a fair result.

Really lost it's way in the end and the ref truly * up In the end.
But i really didnt expect us to go toe to toe for the full game.
Maybe would've had different subs at times. Boli one was a must through injury. But, would've had ntcham on for calmac, possibly bayo for Forrest.

Thougth hayes done excellent when He came on
    And the bayo red card?,
    * right off.

But 1-1 was fair and helluva game

    Group is wide open already

And just read back a few pages.

    So here's another point

Ref was decent to start.....then booked eddie for diving..

Not a single rennes player (that I recall) was booked for diving and they were diving like * 2nd half.

But....adds to how well we played and how good a result that was.

    Just dont * it up.

Thought it was an enjoyable game to watch, Lenny must be pleased with the team performance, any result away from home in Europe is a good one, would've been criminal if we came away with nothing.

So good to feel confident in this area now, and having a good few options at left back too.

Considering how things looked coming into the season it's a massive relief.

What a difference having faith in your defence, proper * battlers too.

Well done to Lenny and the players on a great away result. Let's not forget Rennes spend £78m in the summer transfer window and we were the better team.

We were brilliant in every aspect. Composure on the ball, dangerous in attack and sound defensively.

We were one mistake (ajer) or penalty decision away from 3pts but nonetheless it's an excellent start. Let's beat Cluj home and away and give ourselves a huge chance of qualifying.

Watching that tonight , at no point was I anxious . Even when we went down ( was a penalty ) I was confident we would get something .. good times ahead .
