I'd slighty disagree, considering every signing under his watch had to endure the demotivational, unfit, lack of effort from Lennon.

Laxalt looks(ed) a player to start with, we all called it - once Lennon sunk his teeth in, he would drop off in performance, fitness etc - he did.
Klimala was never signed as a Edouard replacement, but on the whole has shown much more commitment and attitude than most players and staff here - Lennon rewards that with a bench to warm.
Ajeti looks certainly to be a tidy player, penalty box poacher - Lennon refuses to actually help in training and fitness, forever saying "up to the players" at absolutely every question thrown at him, forgetting he was the manager needing to actually help these guys. Lennon failed him as well, to get him "match fit"
Soro and Turnbull both look excellent, probably saved by the refusal from Lennon to play them much.
Ely - tidy player, badly managed in the shape/formation.
Barkas - for some, fair enough they have seen enough, but like others so far, there are bigger issues that played a part - Duffy being one of them.

Duffy - aye *.

I am extremely glad to see the back of Hammond in many ways, but I would not declare him in the same mould as Congerton.

 

I always hated him and I don't even know why.

Thought Lenny took credit for him no? Could have sworn he said he was at a City u23 game and enquired about him straight after.

Positive signs of things to come hopefully.

We have the resources to win the league next season whilst also embedding a whole new ethos at the club to be a Scottish equivalent of other mainland European clubs above us have got in place.

If 5 years from now we start seeing an influx of serious youth investment and scouting trying to unearth talent globally, not just south of the boarder. We could at least achieve some sort of regular European football.

He's been abysmal for us..

Alright us saying these player's were gonna be class. Fan's do that but we're no watching them scouting every week..

If the scouting team were competent they’d have realised Duffy is pish and doesn’t suit us. Ajeti is a lazy * who can’t get fit. Klimala is never a £3.5m player etc.

They’ve spent millions on players who can’t get near our starting team, in what has been a dross season. Complete failures.

 

Aye that's another good point. We haven't a clue what system we're looking to deploy in a new season and yet we bought Duffy to play in a 3 at the back and Ajeti to play up top on his own with no real support or pace round him. A keeper that turns out doesn't like playing in a goal and a striker who likes to play for a counter attacking side in behind, which we barely ever get..

In a fairness Hammond could have been bringing in an 18 year old Ronaldo nazario, he still would have been shunned for 2 years and loaned out to Patrick thistle

Dinny let the door hit you on the * on the way out! Think a 8 year old could have done a better job.

 

He's not as bad as Congerton, but that's not exactly praise, Duffy has to be one of our worst signings ever, Ajeti is a lazy * and there is no way Klimala was ever worth 3.5 million, if the reports were true.

 

Overall a poor appointment but the ineptitude of the coaching team makes him seen worse than he actually was.

Julien - Success
Elhamed - Success (unlucky with injury & homesickness)
Soro - Success (coaching team refused to play for 12 months)
Turnbull - Same as above although was already in our thoughts pre-Hammond
Connell - Has looked promising in his pre-season cameos - not being given a chance
Ajeti - For all his detractors had no chance under Lennon with no fitness regime or tactics to suit his play

 

The amount of hun * commenting under that post on Twitter and everything else Celtic at the moment is cringeworthy. The patter they come out wae is * hoaching.
