We literally have to put 2 goalies on the bench because we have nobody else to play. I'll just say that a minimal loss would be a good result tonight.

Henderson is the only one, he’s plays wide or attacking mid.

He really needs to kick on now. Another technical player who Ange should really be able to call upon in the 8 position. Especially as we play with the 3, which gives Henderson more room to express his self..

There must be a reason he can't even really get in our match day squad's though..

Was just coming in to say the same thing. Lad hasn’t put a foot wrong all season.

Was really hoping to see the old band back together, Welsh and Ralston locking down that right side.

Starfelt needs to start earning his corn tonight.

The mental part is that if Hart gets injured Liam Scales is probably the best choice to replace him.

Have we ever had a good result away in Europe wearing our 3rd kit?

 

The worry is a repeat of the AZ away game. Not enough pace in the middle of the park and Soro can be prone to a bit of the headless chicken routine.

Europe is a bonus this season though. A chance for some fringe players to step up and just hope we don’t get overrun.

My optimistic head said 2-2 earlier. I would give my left arm for that.

As long as we put on a decent performance and no more injuries I’ll be happy enough, regardless of result.

 

Honestly 3 times it’s happened to Welsh now. If I was him I’d see it as a sign of things to come and be looking at my next move, he’s been our best defender.

 

Probably the strongest team we have though I'd have Welsh ahead of Starfelt. 2 goalies, 4 defenders and no strikers/wingers on the bench

 

We don't really have the option's today but the worry is if Ange genuinely doesn't think Turnbull and Rogic in a 3 are too immobile moving forward..

All part of Ange’s grand plan. Blow them away first 30 minutes then take off all our attacking players and replace them with defenders to see out the last hour and prove he has pragmatism in his locker
