The Glasgow Derby is nearly upon us, anything can happen in these games. It's the first derby of the new year, and after the Motherwell result we go into the new year and huns game top of the league.

Now with Brown suspended and a huge growing injury list this could be a big ask for the team but still very possible, and to start the new year top of the league with a victory over the huns would be a big boost for the rest of the season.

C'MON The Hoops let's get in to them!!! :celt_2:

All I ask for is a fair ref and we have a chance :50:

Need to play it carefully, don't want us over fired up for the game and going down to 10 men for a stupid tackle early on, frustrate them, play them at their own game, catch them on the counter and hit them with both flanks with pace.

With our current injury situation and suspension's I would like to see this team against the huns

    Forster

    Wilson - Maj - Rogne - Izzy

    Ledley - Kayal

    Kapo______________Forrest
    Stokes

As always, first goal will be crucial, without sounding too negative if the huns score first I can't see us coming back with us missing massive players like Brown, Cha, Ki and of course Hooper.

It's a huge gamble with Forrest, don't want him to freeze under the occasion, I want to see him taking on his full back and giving Stokes ammunition, Kapo played well tonight before he was taken off, really hope he is ok for this game.

On 70 minutes I would give Ljungberg a chance to make himself an instant legend with the Celtic fans.

We all know it's going to be a * hard game, I will * your hand off for a point.

C'mon Celtic, lets get into these * :50:

I wouldn't play McCourt simply because he has now played two consecutive games for 90 minutes something he hasn't done for a very long time, I don't want him going into a game that is known to be full of crunching tackles and risk losing him for the rest of the season potentially, we all know how dirty the huns are, they know Paddy is made of glass and is our danger man, they will expect him to play and will no doubt discuss taking him out of the game with hard tackles with the likes of McCulloch playing.

Bring him on with 30 minutes to go when he is fresh and get the ball to him and use him as a super sub for this game.

Would you rather he was injured in the first 10 minutes of a high tempo game CelticKat?

What about Ljungberg if he signs on time? Some may not want to risk him from the start but Zheng Zhi had a decent debut for us there
