Just post any random as * facts or stories about Players, Managers, Fans or Club Generally.

This came to mind because it just occurred to me that Glenn Loovens earned more Netherlands caps (2) in his time with us than Van Dijk (0) did. * mental :56:

    We turned down signing Lewandowski..

Another mark in the Mowbray disaster..

Imagine him and Keane up top..

Rasmussen and Fortune were in instead as well..

If my Granda could work the internet this thread would be ideal for him. Tells me stuff every 2nd week when we're boozing and by the following morning it's all out of my head.

One I do remember is that Celtic were the last senior club in the UK to get floodlights in 1959....and the board sold Bobby Collins against his will to fund it.

When you hear the way former teammates talk about Rasmussen on Si Ferry's podcasts it makes that decision seem all the more laughable.

He came in and hit a wee brief spell away at Accies and home to someone else straight after if my memory is right but he really was pish..

The fact his nickname was the Danish Duncan Ferguson should've been enough for us to pull the plug on contract talks..

Edit: What did Ferry say out of interest bud?

Ferry always asks guys of that era to say how bad he was. I can't remember specifically who said what but a few have said he was abysmal in training.

Apparently one of the coaches shouted on "* * Morten, the balls not a bomb" when he couldn't keep a hold of the ball in training.

Kelvin Wilson and Kris Commons are the only players to be teammates of Lennon and then later sign for Lennon at Celtic.

(Mulgrew was at Celtic with Lennon but never played)

Someone might end up correcting me on this.

We apparently left those very floodlights on to guide in the Luftwaffe, well inside the vacant spaces inside the average huns heids we did.

Think I'm the only Celtic fan who still rages when I hear Hearts fans talking about their Scottish Cup win in 2012 because clear in my mind, that dirty * Skacel was on a yellow card when he deliberately hand balled it when we were about to break up the park in the Semi finals. I've actually just enraged myself even more typing this and can't believe the amount of people don't have a clue what I'm on about when I bring it up.

    Bump...

Was talking to my mates there about Predator boots and it reminded me that Van Hooijdonk wore studs (left) and moulders (right) in the 95 cup final.

    Some trivia for y'all.

We could have had a young Didier Drogba, only his best pal Momo Sylla told him no to bother cause he wouldn't get in ahead of Larsson, Sutton and/or Hartson.

Probably some good advice from him to be fair, but * sake Momo (ironically a regular phrase heard from the stands)

Neil McCallum - scorer of Celtic's first ever goal in their first ever game against Rangers also played for Rangers that season in a friendly against Aston Villa, making him not only the first ever Catholic to play for Rangers, but also the first ever player to play for both sides.

GIRFUY Judas ya insignificant ginger *!
