Must be the first world cup i couldn't care less about, i just wanna watch the hoops, having this in the middle of a season was stupid, of course giving it to Qatar in the first place was stupid.

 

Final a week before Christmas day. Bit mental.

 

Celtic have 4 players announced so far, Hearts 3, Dundee United 2, Hibs, St Mirren and the Huns have 1.

 

I hope the viewing figures quickly show that a large % of the normally World Cup ‘invested’ fans … just don’t give a fark about this event and everything about it.

I have never been so uninterested in the WC and the timing only adds to the immoral choice of host country.

Sadly… too many will abandon principles just to be involved and will forget the death toll and other human rights issues until after it’s all over … and beyond.


Not one country prepared to boycott. (Scotland doesn’t count)
Not one player refusing to go.
Not one broadcaster refusing to cover it.
Lip service paid by those with financial interests while taking the money.

Football and FIFA should be ashamed of themselves.

 

I've been taking a bit of an interest in "I'm a celebrity" as practice for avoiding the world cup.
I have no interest in it, but like these * reality shows, even if I don't watch it, it's going to be all over the papers.

 

The players etc that boycott it with armsbands and stuff like that does it for woke reasons though. For publicity and personal gain. They dont give a single * about the workers who have paid with their lives.

How Qatar got the world cup sums up the state the sick world is in in all honesty.

 

Will the female refs need to wear burkas?
If not will the locals be going radio rental over bare heads and bare legs?
Could be interesting.

 

Really couldn’t give a xxxx about this World Cup. This one and Russia should never have been awarded. Total corruption. Hope our players come back safely.

 

No * gives a flying * over the human rights violation’s, just as long as the competition goes smoothly and FIFA gets there money.

Gary Neville should be finished after his ‘Countdown to Qatar’ documentary.

After months of whining on about Qatar, it turns out he’s been involved in an utterly toe-curling puff piece documentary on the place!

In it, he visits pubs, fancy hotels, and speaks to women who assure him it’s ‘great’ in Qatar and a construction guy who says the death numbers are all lies.

He can’t be taken seriously after it.

Heavily fancy Argentina and would love to see Messi do it. Wife's Portuguese so will obviously be supporting them too, but Fernando Santos has them playing the shitest football for the squad they have.
