Forrest has been excellent since he came on.

 

We really can trouble some of the best going forward, but defending a team with that amount of attacking quality is just too difficult for the players we can afford.

Not bothered by result, we have had worse results against lesser teams in friendlies before.

Most importantly some of tje guys are looking ready to go and when they actually turn up for a competitive game we'll be fine

Playing at the home of one of the elite present side's, who are a few week's ahead of us fitness wise as well..

Lot's of positives despite the score and before we really tired but plenty to work on..

We can see where we need to improve squad wise pretty easily..

Meh. Played no bad in spells. Would rather we didn’t play these kinda teams in pre season but it’s a good for fitness chasing shadows about I suppose.

Frimpong done well. Ntcham aswell.

 

Thought we played pretty well throughout albeit some bad mistakes in defence to allow them to score so easily. Christie, Ntcham and McGregor were fantastic in midfield and Elyounoussi, Taylor and Frimpong caused them all sorts of trouble out wide. Jamesy was excellent when he came on too.

Definitely need a goalkeeper in, regardless of how you rate Bain we can't risk going into the season and qualifiers with just one senior keeper. If we continue with 3 at the back another centre half is also needed.

 

I feel like there can be no shame from that performance. We were very decent at times. Very little shots, though.

 

Yeah but 9 times out of 10 something like tonight will happen. We always need these kinds of players to have off day a. If they don't then there's little we can do.

 

Some encouraging signs, considering the opposition. They’re a level or two above.

id say thats been my concern about the three matches. Id have maybe had liked an added game against a lower level opposition to get the strikers some more of the ball infront of goal and build some confidence.

 

There's so much to like about PSG and I really want to like them as a football team. But their sportsmanship leaves a lot to be desired.
