Think it has got to the stage now There needs to be a day of action against this board and heads need to roll big time as this been a * shambles .

Absolute * hour here. I felt the slow movement was because the bored felt assured it was a done deal! Clearly not. I wouldn't be surprised if in a few months time Howe says something about being left in disbelief or extremely frustrated by how our board conducts itself.

Seems the search is about as close to conclusion as it had been the day this thread had been created.

Seeing as it will now be another generic manager suggestion thread, I'll revisit my original suggestion. Suggested Ranieri back in Feb. He was being paid 5k less than we were paying Rodgers. Well, ranieri has now left sampdoria too. No compensation package included. Ranieri is my vote

 

could be his family didnt fancy it !! Tell ye what the carry on of that mob last week wouldnt have did his family any favours in thinking moving here was a good idea !

Genuinely one of the most comedic episodes I’ve seen. So, so, so utterly *.

We laid our cards on the table and gave Howe as long as he wanted - which in itself is a ludicrous decision. You create pressure. Put a deadline on things. Let someone decide by that deadline and then simply move on.

You can write of next season. Absolutely no chance do we have any sort of reasonable contingency. Worse still, we appear to have lost out on Howe simply because we want to bring Desmond’s mate in.

 

Mate, since you joined this site I don't think you've got one thing correct. You were adamant that it was going to be Jesse Marsch and look how that turned out.

You dont have a clue, you look at who the current favourite is in the bookies and base your "knowledge" from that.

I mean sure, it might still be that ange *, but you have zero inside information regarding it.

 

The downside of waiting on Howe...no manager should be bigger than the club. All prospective managers now know they are at least second choice and would be wiser not taking the job. This is embarrassing

 

Just about to say this btw he has shown more qualities with that women’s side than Kennedy has done

For weeks I've been totally convinced Howe would be unveiled.... Just a matter of when, not if.

Over the last week or so I've read posters on here saying they wouldn't be surprised if it breaks down last minute leaving us with 3 months of completely wasted time and panicking into whoever will take the job. I remember thinking to myself, "no way. Even this board aren't that incompetent".

Well here we are.

Unsurprisingly days after the renewals are out Howe isn't coming I feel that this happened over the weekend and the club kept it quiet that would be more likely considering they are at advanced talks with another candidate

At least Venglos managed decent sized clubs in Villa and Fenerbahce before us.
