    There is no advantage whatsoever to delaying confirmation of his appointment, even if he is set to start in the summer.

    I agree - all this stuff about "undermining" Kennedy is BS. The only thing I could vaguely understand is if they want McKay to be there when its announced as the working relationship would be between him and Howe - not Lawwell.

    Unless it's explicitly confirmed or denied in the next week, I retain hope that it could be formally announced on the 19th or 20th (even if Howe isn't actually starting until June).

    If they aren't in a position to be at least planning for an announcement then, IMO it's not going to happen and we should be moving on to other candidates.

    Read it in a couple of places today, the Daily Mail are also running with it now, as are Football 365.

    Obviously no idea if it's true but it would be classic Celtic.

    It is all ifs and buts and speculation in the press the people that know won't tell us until its signed and sealed might be Howe might be Favre or could turn out to be a manager that comes in under the radar just as long as its not given to Kennedy as my opinion is he isn't ready for this job
