Eddie Howe wouldn't * last with the bullshit that goes on in Scottish football.

He barely handled Burnley, * all chance dealing with the backwater world of Scottish football and sports media.

Don't get me wrong though, if he did work, he'd probably have a field day developing young talent like Frimpong, Dembele, Mikey, Welsh, Klimala. He'd still make me nervous though as he never struck me as someone who good defensive teams

    Bielsa would be the dream.

Love the way he wants to play the game. Every player knows exactly what their role is in the side, work their socks off and everything is done at a quick tempo.

Unfortunately it won’t happen but he would be my choice. Leeds obviously have some good players but he manages to get a lot more out of certain players because they are well drilled and know exactly what their role is. (The complete opposite to us!)

Not just anyone and not just any big name. Get the right guy in, on merit, and doesn't have to be previously connected to Celtic.

Someone that has a lengthy background in developing players at a good level, is used to a small budget, and likes to play attacking football.

Honestly Eddie Howe suits the plan down to a T. He was on Sky Sports talking about how he likes to play all out attacking football, you have to take his defensive record with a pinch of salt because the quality in attack is obviously lightyears ahead of ours. He also developed Nathan Ake into a 40 mill player, which Bournemouth could've probably got more for if they hadnt been relegated. The only negative for Howe is that he get's homesick going for the messages.

Coincidentally, I was just reading up on his coaching style there because I don't pay much attention to English football, and he does seem to fit the bill. Pretty sure the players would enjoy working with him as well due to how highly thought of he is/was down there.

Not sure if you came across this video but this gives good insight into his coaching:

Am I right in thinking that Howe would be something of a poor man's Rodgers?

I don’t know much about Howe, but with regard to homesickness at Burnley, wasn’t that 10 years ago?

Guy might’ve had personal issues or a young family or something.

Also, his half brother is Stevie Lovell so take from that what you will.

This is the problem, who would we replace NL with? It’s not an easy one to resolve. Half of the names people band about don’t want to come here to this backwater and the others have no track record. I’m not saying keep NL I’m trying to point out how difficult it’ll be to get someone in that’ll turn us around in a matter of weeks that actually wants the job.

Bielsa would be unreal here but simply don’t see any way our board even consider him.

Delia came in and set up the Sports Science, Rodgers then cracked on with it. Lennon was never the man to take all that on board and make it his own, we have regressed massivly.
From what Ive seen of Howe, he is far more technical and would be able to come in and kick start all tht again.
