I will always back any manager we have when they take up the position as I always want them to succeed.

If Keane comes in I will back him to do the job.

The problem stems from not believing he will do the job well. He is not the correct appointment in my opinion, just like Neil Lennon was not the correct appointment.

I will hope for the best but fear the worst.

If it goes ties up the board and Desmond will know all about it, particularly if we are allowed back into the stadium.

No, I wouldn’t point blank turn my back on the club.

If you read my post and all you took from it was “a manager you don’t want” then you’ve completely missed the point.

After this shitshow of a season they couldn’t appoint Roy Keane. They will need to hire a manager who will if anything Atleast excite fans whether he’s proven or appealing like maresca. Desmond did say the new director of football would have a part in picking the new manager (could be * talk) so I doubt more than 1 of the board would opt for Keane. Don’t think he’s good enough or has the cv to manage us tbh. Whoever the next manager is deserves a fair shout before pitchforks but the club needs to show more ambition than Keane in my opinion

Just goes to demonstrate what the "Keane" mindset might bring.

I honestly find it hard to imagine a worse choice: "touch" "Bargepole" "yours" "wouldn't" feel free to re-arrange.

I cant speak for him but I know from my point if its Keane I won't be backing them in a financial sense anymore as in I'll not be renewing my season ticket I've had for 18 year I'll still support them and hope we win every single game and that it is a success would never want us to fail but won't be backing the choice and paying over 500 year after year just because that's what we should do like puppets

Me personally would support the club but my replica shirts would come from dhgate. I don't have a seas ticket but in the summer I spent a couple of hundred quid on merch. If I think they are * money away, why should I give them it?
At best Keane would be a short term fix but I imagine a lot of players would get fed up of him within weeks.

Keane is like a donkey entering the Derby and some will back him but know he's * before the race begins .
If Desmond appoints him then sorry Dermot but you shouldn't be the major shareholder at our club anymore and your making Celtic a laughing stock and looks to me getting your mate a job he doesn't deserve or good enough for.

If someone knows any the GB boys ask them to erect a banner outside parkhead saying "Don't do it! (KEANE)" and maybe add some of our preferred candidates at the bottom?

Seems the Keane rumour will not go away will it. I find Nicky * resigning his post at United a strange one too. Being reported this morning he is pursuing "a new professional challenge". Whatever that professionals challenge is, he clearly isn't at liberty to discuss the specifics yet, if he is headed our way I think he wouldn't be able to talk specifics either. Might be putting 2 and 2 together and coming out with 5. I am concerned the movements seems to be alligning to appoint keane though.

    * is already linked with management jobs and Derby as an assistant. No solid links with us, and the timing does seems down to working relationships at Man U.

Keane rumours seem to be down to Paul John Dykes tweeting about it. Imagine it would just be done to try and get viewers up for the ACSOM daily bulletin.

I do think Dermot would take a punt on Roy Keane. Based on nothing really, except they seem like friends, and I remember watching a finance conference on YouTube he done and saying how he prefers working with fellow Irish people. I would imagine they have a number 1 team in mind and Keane is a close second option.
